The Maniac Pass network is a collection of 366 sites offering up nearly 5,000 hardcore scenes in all the major niches. Browsing through the tour will give you a good idea of exactly what you'll see inside. Top rated site titles include Chubby Orgies and Tranny Fantasies; newly added site titles include Naked Amateurs and Glamour Stockings. There's a little something for everyone. The sites feature video-only content and it really is a no-nonsense collection. Each site offers its selected niche of videos with no filler photos to get in the way. This one is for fans of hardcore video content.
The Goods -
Maniac Pass offers a huge number of videos. No matter how you slice it, 5,000 scenes is a ton of porn. They've got material for fans of amateurs, big cocks, fetishes, lesbians, pregos, and more, with their largest categories being mature, tranny, and bdsm. They do lean away from some mainstream categories, but across the board these are movies that hardcore fans will enjoy.
Getting around is pretty simple. I especially liked that I only had to enter my password once. Using the DVD Listing page, you can even skip the middle step of actually visiting the sites and just view the videos on the network page. Not too many bells or whistles but it's clean and easy.
The Bads -
As large as this collection is, compared to similar AVSs, there's room for growth. Consider Porn Access, our highest scoring AVS, who has 40,000 GB on 1,000 sites. Maniac Pass offers up 586 GB on 366 sites. That's a substantial difference. Compared to other paysites, Maniac Pass offers a huge amount but compared to other AVSs, it's not as big as it seems.
More browse features for the sites would be nice. All you get are categorized site titles and a basic DVD title search. The site titles are so generic, they tell you little about what you'll see. In particular, more information on when sites are updated should be added. With no dates, I have no clue how ofen new movies are added and which sites are adding them. On a somewhat related note, they seem to update the DVD list in category batches. For instance, on the closest thing you've got to an updates page, the New DVDs listing, the most recently added nine movies are mature. Not sure if that was a fluke or not, but if you're not a fan of the niche they're updating, you're out of luck.
They provide no information about the movies you're watching. You get the video title and screen shots and that's it. There is no listing of stars or studios, no description of the action, nothing. There's no text to entice and nothing to really help you find more of a scene if you like what you saw.
Conclusion -
Maniac Pass has the basics down. They've got a solid sized collection and getting around isn't too difficult. Content quality is fine but nothing to rave or complain about. The price is average at $30 a month. Now it's time to differentiate themselves from the rest. More growth and user features would help a lot. Video fans will probably enjoy this collection and hopefully at our next visit they've got a little something more to make us take notice.

Maniac Pass has seen some serious growth since our last visit. There are now 563 sites, up from 366, and 1227 GB of content, up from 586 GB. It looks like the collection has been updated regularly. They've added an update log so you can clearly see when new DVDs have been added, and it looks like you can expect around 6 new DVDs each week. In addition to the new update dates, they've also added more information about the movies. When you access the DVD collection through the Maniac Pass pages (rather than visiting the individual sites) you can read a movie description and see a list of stars. Honestly, I'm not sure what the point is of the AVS structure here at all. They've got a perfectly fine system of navigation that you don't need to leave and visit the mini-sites at all. At any rate, it's good to see improvements being made and I look forward to seeing what's new at our next visit.

Maniac Pass continues to grow at a good rate and now includes over 800 sites and 1600 GB of content. More interesting, however, is the addition of several new browse features. You can browse by category, studio, or star and you can browse by site, DVD, or clip. Once again I've got to ask, what is the point of the AVS set-up? They've got a solid site all their own. There really is a lot to enjoy in this collection and it is becoming more and more user-friendly with every visit.
Score increased from 80.0 to 80.5.
