Maniac Pass is an AVS with sites that include only video content. The guest tour here is one that's set up in a very user-friendly way. Non-members can browse the included sites and see what scenes they have to offer. Also, it's possible to browse by the DVD listing to see the actual titles. As far as making a decision about them having the type of videos you want be sure to take time to explore the titles on your own. That's the best way to do it.
The Goods:
- All hardcore Movie Content. Video AVS's are way better than the old style AVS's which are typically dominated by crappy picture sites. Maniac Pass has none of that and all the included sites only have downloadable movies in a variety of niches.
- Downloadable Clips & Full-Movie Files. Each video is broken into a handful of clips and is also available in one big movie file. The full files downloaded at a decent speed for me on my cable modem connection.
- Browse by Site or Categorized DVD Page. Personally I found the DVD listing to be a helpful navigation feature that was the easiest way to browse this AVS's collection. On that list it's possible to filter down to specific category niches.
The Bads:
- Mature & Tranny are Biggest Categories. On a general hardcore movie AVS of this kind there are other niches like Teen, Hardcore, Amateur, and a few other sections that should be the largest. Mature and tranny are a couple odd niches to have as the biggest sections.
- Many Categories Need Growth. Specifically I'm thinking of the ethnic section which shouldn't be lumped together
as it is. Networks like this should have separate Asian, Ebony, and Latina niches. Also, as I stated in my previous bullet point there need to be more general hardcore and teen movies.
- Non-Exclusive Content. This is simply the nature of the beast for movie AVS's but I still felt it worth noting on my review.
Conclusion:
As a reviewer Maniac Pass makes it easy because they lay out their entire DVD collection on their guest tour. I can advise surfers to explore and make a decision based on what titles and scenes they see. What I'll be looking for when we come back for a follow up is more movies in the sections I discussed. As it stands Maniac Pass is average in comparison to it's competition and doesn't have anything extraordinary that caught my eye.

Overall the points laid out in my initial review still apply to Maniac Pass. The have a mix of hardcore DVDs browseable by niche categories or by individual AVS sites. Taking a look at the niche sections I see that the largest categories are Fetish, Mature, and Tranny. They really do need to work on building up the more mainstream categories like Amateur, Teen, Asian, etc. There isn't even a Blowjob category on the list. As far as video download sites go Maniac Pass remains in the middle of the pack and doesn't offer any outstanding feature that can be pointed to as a big selling point.
Score decreased from 78.0 to 76.5.

This is now our third look at Manaic Pass and they seem to be continually updating although not making any other adjustments to the site. It's still an AVS service that has the crossover set-up that makes it possible to browse the collection of DVD as you would a single movie site. So in that area they are good to go with the foundation in terms of design and layout. However, the points I made in my previous reviews still stand about the collection only being so-so in terms of numbers of movies and the niches with large quantities of content. Sections like tranny and milf still outnumber what's in the teen, blowjob, or even hardcore categories. The have yet to offer any sort of distinguishing feature that would separate them from any of their numerous competitors.
Score increased from 76.5 to 77.5.
