If you like big squishy girls, Mandy%u2019s Playhouse gives you a lot of them. The bright pink site belonging to BBW Mandy Blake, welcomes you into her playhouse. The member's area is strikingly different than the tour and much more cluttered than what I was expecting. And while she appears to update quite a bit, I noticed that she continually adds content from the same set on multiple dates. The price of admission has risen over the years to almost $30 bucks per month.
The Pros
Exclusive BBW Amateur Content.
Mandy's pics are broken down into categories from fetish to close ups, amateur, girl-girl, special requests and more. She says her ass is 68" all the way around, although she looks a bit larger to me, but she does have a very pretty face so I guess calling herself a "curvy" BBW isn't too far off. Other than the archive section and the main Mandy's photos category, the rest of the categories are very small in comparison. Her fetish images include things like feet, smoking, a little bondage and PVC. There's no boy-girl hardcore that I found and very little girl-girl, although there is some. Other than a few toys and such, much of Mandy's content is very softcore prancing around and posing in different outfits.
Bonus Site Access.
Your membership here gives access to another handful of sites including at least 1 other amateur site and Mandy's lesbian site, Her First Fat Girl. Bonus content includes access to her blog, her twitter account, artwork, stories, cam chats and more.
Other Good Stuff:
Quality can look okay, the videos were mostly average to below with a few impressive looking ones even though bitrate speeds really don't go higher than 1000k. For amateur images, the newest 1200p look pretty good, too.
This is a decent sized collection of content with archives dating back to 2000, offering more than 24,000 images and 440 video clips.
Member's can request live cam shows with Mandy but I don't think the 24/7 house cams promised in the tour are actually up and running.
The Cons
Site Design is Amateurish & Not Good.
This is your old school amateur design clearly done by Mandy herself or someone else without any site building skills. Tables are used, content is broken down into categories without any actual browse and user features to get through them seamlessly, etc. There are no download options really, streaming, or ZIPs for the image sets.
Overall Quality Average to Below.
Mandy's site has been around for some time, and yes, things have improved but the overall quality here ranges from average to far below. Some video clips don't offer bitrates over 300k, for instance.
Updates Questionable.
At the time of this review it doesn't look like new videos are being added, but it's hard to tell for sure. Images are added often, but normally it's a small amount of 1 single set being added.
I should also mention that Mandy hasn't updated her blog since May 2011, there are no free cam shows scheduled and the 24/7 house cam link didn't work for me.
Minor Negatives:
The price of admission is rather high for an amateur site not offering high quality content & a more fluid site design.
Content is note date stamped and there are too many tables & text links without preview thumbs.
Bottom Line
There's more to love about Mandy but she needs to improve her site.
I can deal with a rather awkward and amateur site design but I really expect more from amateurs' content these days. Live cam shows are not scheduled that I can see and other areas of her site appear to be abandoned these days (her blog). I still don't get her update schedule, the best I can say is that she adds a new image shoot each week or so, adding the pictures in increments so it seems like she's updating daily. Her site could use a total re-haul in design and the quality of content needs to improve but I will go out on a limb to admit that there are probably not a whole lot of great amateur BBW sites out there and I'm sure Mandy's got at least a few of them beat.
