Intro

Male Spectrum Pad is up for review today, and this is the mobile/iPad version of the Male Spectrum Pass network of sites. That means you get the full collection from 10 different sites including Twinks For Cash, His First Huge Cock, Male Ass Play, and more. Everything is optimized to be viewed on a tablet, so I hope that's how you're checking the site out (otherwise, just hit the main version of the site up instead). $25 a month gets you in the door here, which I guess seems about right.

The Pros

Lots to see here.

All told, when you add up the content from all the sites, you have access to over 700 scenes here, which is pretty good. All of them are original gay content as well. You shouldn't run into any problems of running out of material for your first couple months at least.

Designed well for the iPad.

This is kind of an obvious one, but you never know what some companies may do. The site fits well and looks nice when viewing on the iPad. Any random issues that pop up on a regular computer are all taken care of when you use it how it was designed to be used.

Other Good Stuff:

The videos look pretty nice while viewing them on your iPad. If you're on a regular computer, they don't look so good, but that's not the point here.

The Cons

Navigation could be expanded.

While it's not difficult to use or anything, there aren't a ton of options here for navigation the sites. I'd mostly look for some kind of search or category selection feature to really help narrow content down quickly. You don't want to be clicking around a ton while on 3G, so the faster you find a good scene, the better off you are.

Updates aren't coming in that often.

Considering there are 10 sites here that should all be updating weekly (or more) in a perfect world, the updates are really slow here overall. The last update was around a week and a half ago, and it seems to be really hit or miss. You can get some daily updates here and there, and other times you have to wait two weeks.

Minor Negatives:

The photo setup is very weird here. They have this coverflow-like setup, and the pictures are quite small in there, even on an iPad.
You can change your default video quality level to HD, and many scenes offer a link to download the HD version, but most of them were not in HD that I could find. A few have the words "hi def" in the title of the scene, and those are the ones you want, though the number is pretty small, and there's no easy way to find them.

Bottom Line

A large collection of gay iPad content that's simple, but gets the job done.

Male Spectrum Pass is pretty much as expected here. We've had the opportunity to check out quite a few mobile sites lately, including some networks, so the bar has been raised since these sites were first launched. This one in particular gets the job done okay, without a lot of frills. I'd look for more updates, easier navigation, and better ways to find the HD videos. The biggest problem is probably the navigation, as they could use a search or some categories. The updates would be my next preference. As it stands, you get a lot for your money at least, and it'll definitely work well enough if you're on a tablet and need some gay porn.
