MaleFlixxx.tv is a gay pay-per-view site with more hardcore porn videos than you can shake your stick at. Cheesy line, yes, but the site is seriously huge. There are over 768 full-length DVDs available, averaging over 80 minutes a piece! I couldn't possibly imagine watching every video here. And with daily updates, the collection just keeps growing. If it's gay video rentals you're after, MaleFlixxx has got it.
Of course, the one hurdle all pay-per-view sites face is price and MaleFlixxx is no exception. The pay structure works like this. You can rent a 20 minute long scene for two hours for approximately $3 or for five days for approximately $5. You can rent the entire DVD for 24 hours for $10 or for five days for around $15. Clearly getting hooked on MaleFlixxx could put a serious dent in your wallet. Just for kicks, consider this. If you wanted to watch every DVD and chose the five day rental, it will cost you $11,520. Ouch!
They've got quite a few options for navigating this large collection, thank goodness. In addition to browseable categories, you can use the Power Search to search by title, description, star, director, studio, content, country, date, and more, as well as any combination of those. They have some pretty in depth categories, as well, which should appeal to anyone with specific taste. For instance, in addition to your more standard categories of military, bondage, bodybuilders, and college guys, you can get as specific as cowboys, firemen, and leathermen. With such a large collection, they have something for everyone whether you like oral sex, wrestling, tickling, shaving, cirle jerk, or something called chainfucking. I just love options!
Once you've prepared yourself to spend some bucks and you've found a flick that interests you, a good amount of information is presented about each movie. Since one of the options is to view the video by scene, they provide two preview pics and a description of the men and content in each scene. Pretty handy! Before actually renting the movie, however, you'll want to head over to the Options & Settings page to input your viewing preferences. Users have a choice of Real Video or Windows Media. It appears you also have a choice of streaming or download, but for all intents and purposes this is a streaming-only site. Downloading is somewhat complicated and it's all DRM protected anyway so it's not like you get a permanent copy of the movie. This is pretty typical for a pay-per-view site but that doesn't make it any easier to swallow. Even after shelling out the big bucks for these movies you're left with only a memory when your time expires.
At least I can tell you that video quality is very nice. You can enter your bandwidth so the stream is automatically configured for your internet speed. Ours played at 1100k and it looked great. We're talking full-screen no problem. Some individual movies looked better than others but for the most part I had no complaints about the quality of these videos.
MaleFlixxx.tv is a good site, no question about that. The collection is massive, the updates are daily, the site is easy to browse, and the quality is quite nice. My only complaint is the cost. This is one expensive website. It's not even like this is original content either, which would help justify the price. It's a tough call. If you're after a specific movie that you have had trouble finding elsewhere, I think MaleFlixxx would be quite useful. But if you're just after some general gay porn, I'm not sure the cost is worth it.

Since our last look at Maleflixxx two years ago, the site has grown tremendously, from 768 DVDs to over 4,200. I thought the site was big before, now it's huge thanks to continued daily updates. Video quality is basically the same, which is ok, although it might be time to step it up a little bit. The price structure is also the same, so it's still an expensive join. I was impressed with the size of the collection and the many browse tools make it easy to get around. The cost will add up, but if you're looking for a large gay video archive, this is a good place to start.
Score increased from 79.5 to 80.5.

It's been almost a year since our last visit to Maleflixxx and in that time the site has grown from 4,200 DVDs to 5,600. Clearly they're keeping up the frequent updates! The ppv structure is still in place, so it's still an expensive join. The video quality remained the same, with movies playing at 1100k. They look fine, but really, they had 1100k 3 years ago when we first reviewed this site! It's time for an upgrade. All in all, things are looking good at Maleflixxx, but I really hope that by our next visit we see something new.
Score remains at 80.5.
