Male Celebrities is the counterpart to the site Female Celebrities which TBP has already reviewed. Because of this I'm familiar with the basic setup here. Male Celebrities is as fairly straightforward celeb site with a mix of pictures, video clips, and other items like news, features, and 3rd party porn content.
The Goods:
- Lots of Content & Celebrities. Overall there is a lot to see here. Just look at the TBP site facts and you'll see there are a lot of pictures and videos. The overall number of celebs is a positive too. Each has a brief biography to go along with their content and resume. The features, news, and other items can be interesting too and aren't just throw away filler.
- Decent Browsing Options. The design makes it fairly simple to locate celebs. A keyword search for name or program/movie title is offered as is alphabetical browsing. I also like the ability to view a list of only the men who have videos available. The other main navigation options is by category which include: Celebs, Athletes, Models, Singers, Soap, Flicks, and TV.
- Daily Updates w/ Log. An updates section lays out the recent celebrities that have been updated or added. It also highlights the new feature (articles & specials) on the site. At least a handful of individual items are added each day which is obviously how they built up such a sizable site.
The Bads:
- Many Celebs w/Out Videos. Pictures are clearly the main content on Male Celebrities. Depending on which celebs you're interested in there's a good chance they might not have videos available. Also, the photo content is a mix of nude and semi-nude so there are many clothed pics.
- Varying Pic/Video Quality. This is an issue that applies to the majority of celebrity niche sites out there. The content quality including picture size is average and varies quite a bit.
- Fairly Standard Celeb Content. The material that Male Celebrities uses is pretty standard for this niche. There isn't that hook like a focus on videos or high-res content that would set them apart from the crowd.
Conclusion:
Male Celebrities is another respectable source of celebrity content. Taking a look at the site as a whole it doesn't have any glaring weaknesses for those who are okay with more picture galleries than videos. That they have a lot of celebrities, regular updates, and a sizable collection which does give the site value.
