Intro

Mad Sex is an AVS site which is a set-up that you don't see that much anymore. It was kind of the precursor to the reality/video networks that we see nowadays. The guest tour itself gives you a clear impression as it is an old school layout with some and some of the content items featured there are recognizable stuff from 3rd party companies. Mad Sex has actually been online for a long time as we have a launch date from 1999.

The Pros

Good Amount of Content Overall, Popular Niches Represented.

The member's area has content broken down into niche sections with a about two dozen in all consisting of the main ones you'd expect like Amateur, Teen, MILF, Interracial, Asian, Blowjob, Groupsex, etc. What you're looking at here in terms of content is almost all videos with streaming hardcore videos. Basically each niche section has multiple sources of movies largely with in-browser streaming videos.

Other Good Stuff:

There is a section dedicated to downloadable movies which is good since the majority of content items here are streaming only.
The member's area has a clear Member FAQ page with subscription info and billing processor links/details.

The Cons

No Content of Their Own, All Recognizable Leased 3rd Party Stuff.

Mad Sex relies on purchased stuff as its primary material. The site really does have the feel of something from the late 90's when plug-in feeds and 3rd party production companies were often used as primary sources for paysites. The fact is this doesn't fly anymore and so much of what's here is recognizable and familiar with a good portion being outdated. Entertainment value and originality are definitely lacking here.

Most Videos are Streaming Only, Little Downloadable Content.

Other than one dedicated section called 'Download Movies' which consists of just half a dozen sources the rest of the content items feature in-browser streaming videos. This isn't surprising since the bulk of 3rd party feeds are go with streaming videos only. The lack of downloads stuff really is noticeable and a big negative.

Content Quality Varies, Lots of Low Quality Videos.

Due to the fact that we're dealing with so many content sources the movie formatting and quality vary. There are feeds in WMV, Real, etc and quality is not impressive. It's a real mish-mash of video formats, options, and quality levels.

Minor Negatives:

The trial membership recurs at a high monthly rate. Also, a pop-up ad appears upon logging into the member's area.

Bottom Line

Essentially Mad Sex is a collection of 3rd party feeds in various niches.

Mad Sex is one of those sites that is still using the business model from the mid to late 90's. While there is a lot of stuff here none of it original and it's not interesting. Content found here is usually the stuff that paysites use as extra or bonus material that most surfers don't pay much attention to. Here they've elevated that stuff to the main content which just doesn't work nowadays.
