Mad At It is a UK site from British film producer Mad @ It Productions. They shoot "high class scripts, high class movies all exclusive and original shot" featuring many different fetishes and types of girls "doing crazy shit". Well in that case, I can't wait to jump inside the member's area to check it out! Unfortunately it took me a week to be able to, but that's irrelevant. Either way, I'm ready to review! But first let's talk about pricing. They've got a unique set-up here that actually starts users off at only $19.99 for the first month, and then goes up to $24.99 per month after that. I don't think I've ever seen a site priced quite like that. Alternately, you can join for one month, non-recurring for $24.99. The archive of content is somewhat small with only 66+ video shoots and 6+ image galleries, but one can only hope updates come in often enough to make the monthly price increase worth it. Let's see...
The Good:
- Original hardcore Euro sex content featuring lots of great bondage scenes and what they call "imaginative fucking". The content is somewhat of a mish-mash overall (Indian, Asian, fetish, etc.), but enjoyable due to the hardcore nature of it. This site is a way for Mad At It to bring users uncut footage before scenes get released onto DVD.
- Quality can be pretty okay. Bitrates can range, but go up to 1500k. It's certainly not the best we've seen, but not bad either.
The Bad:
- Site design, navigation and set-up is poor. Videos are simply listed on the main member's page. Some updates offer scene info, but many don't. Image sets are listed similarly on a separate page. There are no model bios or an index to browse them from, nothing.
- No date stamps on content or clear update schedule.
- Small site, price goes up after the first month. Now that's something we've never seen before! You'd expect one kick ass site for them to be charging more after the initial month of membership.
- Quality can range some. For example, one of the videos that was actually labeled high def only streamed at 690k, which is odd because of its label I expected better. Image sizing can be very small, and overall a disappointment.
The Conclusion:
Oh man, after the wait of getting in to see this site, I have to admit it was a big disappointment for me. There are some enjoyable scenes, and fans of Mad@It films will likely enjoy a lot of the uncut material, but really, it looks like this site was thrown together in one afternoon without much thought of it after that. Where and when are new updates? Where is the organization and consistent model/scene information? And why, with all these shortcomings, does the price of membership go up after the first month? I don't get it. I don't get this site, and I definitely wouldn't suggest a join for such a small collection of mostly okay quality videos and not much else.
