Mack City is an amateur site that says its all about "Hood Pussy" and "Project Chicks". The Fat Mack and his sidekick John are the proprietors and their concept is a blend of the amateur and ebony niches. It's worth pointin out that while most of the performers are black girls they mix things up with some white, asian, and latina chicks as well. The samples of the guest tour provide good insight into the type of girls found here. Also, the written summaries are a big part of the site as well and some of those are shown for guests as well.
The Goods:
- Original 'Project Chick' Amatuer Ebony Shoots. Personality, character, and originality are the biggest things Mack City is selling. They really do well in executing thier concept by having a true collectoin of ghetto models. They're goal is to shoot low class skanky chick and they do deliver in that respect. The action is varies depending on the girls with everything from hardcore banging, threesomes, BJs, and stripteases. I like how they call their collection of girls "The Stable" as it fits well with the theme.
- 100's of Episodes, Hardcore & Softcore. On an amatuer site like this the expectation is that you trade originality for quantity. Mack City bucks that trend by having many hundreds of shoots and a lot of different models. Each individual episode page has a short written summary of the girl/action plus a 5-star rating for her: BJ Skillz, Dance Skillz, Fuck Skillz, Jizz Tolerance, Sex Appeal, Body Meter, and Face Meter. Depending on the type of shoot a model does not all ratings apply to all girls but they do seem like a pretty helpful and accurate tool.
- Lots of Journal & Podcast/Blog Entries. Mack City is set-up so that the written content is nearly as important as the content shoots themselves. The personality of these guys really comes through in the huge collection of dated journal write-ups and then they also havea separate Podcast/Blog page plus articles. Basically these dudes really seem to get a kick out of what they're doing.
The Bads:
- Design/Organization Could Be Improved. While the amateur style is a plus in terms of entertainment value it hurts Mack City a bit on the design front. The episode "Stable" pages and site Journal are the main content pieces but they don't really cross-link those parts so you can easily read a journal on a girl then go to her shoot apperances. Also, I ran into a couple issues like one girl's episode page not loading (just an image came up) and on another model the video links didn't work so I couldn't stream/download her content.
- Average Video Quality, Daily Download Limit. The videos are in WMV clips segments and the number varies depending on how much material they have on a given model. The quality is average and like the design it is pretty much what you might expect from an amateur site like this. The daily download limit is cleary something you'll want to take note of. At least I'll give them credit for being up front about it as they have a large warning about that on the episode pages.
- Limited Update Info, No Video File Details. The Journal entries have dates on them and the Podcast/Blog does as well but the individual episode pages don't have that info posted. Also, they don't provide any specifics on the video files like shoot lenght or file size details.
Conclusion:
For a site like Mack City the most important thing for them to deliver on is content originality and exclusivity and they do that quite well. This is a fun collection with lots of personality for those who are into skanky ghetto type broads. The sheer size of the collection was a positive surprise as well. The areas where they're weaker are the design and video formatting/quality which is what I tend to expect from an amateur niche site like this.
