Low Art Films is up for review today, and they actually don't give you a ton of info on the tour about who they are, or what they do. A quick look around at some of the previews shows off their style, and I'd agree with them when they call it "artistic hardcore porn." Don't expect to see any solo action here, but do expect a lot of lesbians, and a good amount of hardcore as well. It's part of the Fame Digital network of sites, which gives you access to around 40 other similar sites. Just $10 a month gets you in the door, which is an awesome discounted price they've setup for our users.
The Pros
Network access included.
While there's not a ton to see here specifically, there is a lot of extra content available in the network. Expect around 40 other sites to be included with your membership, and a lot of them offer similar, original DVD content. Hopefully there's some extra stuff you like floating around there.
Fun artistic hardcore porn.
At worst, you get a pretty average porn scene here with two people getting it on. However, the other scenes can be quite interesting at times. They do a lot with lighting and colors here, plus some extras like locations, body paint, and more. They keep things interesting, and definitely artistic in nature, while still providing some good hardcore action.
Other Good Stuff:
$10 is an awesome price to join most any site. I think it's a great reason to check this one out.
Updates come in pretty consistently here, with a new scene added each week.
Their site features a category search feature to help narrow things down, which was nice to see in addition to all the usual suspects (browse by model, DVD series, etc).
Downloads come in quite quickly here. Using both a download manager, and a standard browser download, they were easily able to max out my connection speed.
The Cons
Needs some growth.
With under 50 scenes up currently, there's really just not a whole lot to see here. I'm afraid you could get through their collection easily within your first month here. Thankfully it's pretty cheap, and there is network access, but until they really grow their site quite a bit, it will continue to hold them back here.
HD videos are streaming only.
It seems to be hit or miss in this network as far as the HD videos go. Here, you can only view them in streaming format. There are no high definition downloads, and that's definitely a bummer. Some of the other sites are switching over to offering downloads, so keep your fingers crossed I guess, as the current downloadables are just okay in quality.
Minor Negatives:
They don't provide any scene descriptions here, which is too bad since it's their own content they're showcasing.
There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, which may be annoying for some.
For video downloads, they only come in WMV format. That should obviously work well for most people, and they do have a few quality levels, but I wouldn't mind other download options as well.
I'm not sure if they keep their content exclusive here. I think they shoot all their own material, but you may be able to see it on other sites.
Bottom Line
The content is fun, and the price is great, but I'd love to see a ton more material.
Low Art Films does pretty well in the content department, which is definitely the reason to check this site out. The girls are hot, the sex is good, and the scenes are definitely unique enough to keep your interest. Plus, the price is awesome, and you get great network access. The only main problem here is the lack of quantity. There's just not a ton to see, and with only one new scene each week, it'll take quite a while. I'd also love to see them offer the HD version for downloads, though that seems to be hit or miss on their sites in the network. So great content interesting scenes too small a collection = we need as many updates as possible and things will be great here!
