LongMovieDownloads.com offers more than "6,681+ full-length movies to download in DVD quality" and promises no DRM and no download limits for $39.95 bucks per month, which means that right away they've been tagged as one of the most expensive video sites we've reviewed so far. I was just hoping the DVD quality promise panned through, but I'm afraid it didn't take long to find out that the words DVD quality weren't exactly true. Buy hey, at least they've got the quantity in the bag, and that's because Long Movie Downloads is simply a complete index of all of the videos offered between the many Unlimited Pass Network and other company sites.
The Good:
- Currently there are more than 6,800+ videos offered on the Long Movie Downloads site and new updates are being added multiple times per day. As you can imagine, there's just a humongous variety of porno content including squirting, spanking, foot fetish content, matures, and even gay. On top of that plenty of other extras are offered too.
- All videos are offered as a series of smaller clips or in full with several options for quality. Most of your download options are MPEG files, with the streaming option in WMV as high as 750k. Your highest quality download looks pretty good, but I certainly wouldn't label it as DVD quality.
The Bad:
- Sure there's a lot of video content but that's about it here. None of the content offers scene/model information or content descriptions. With so many video clips up it would be really nice if there was a better labeling system and navigation for them.
- No model index, categories or search features makes it really hard to get around the site. How can you have more than 6,800+ video clips and not offer any sort of browse features for them?
- Quality could be improved overall. Many of the videos looked washed out and even the downloads labeled DVD quality were only 640x480 in size.
- A monthly membership here is quite expensive and I'm not convinced that what's inside is deserving of almost $40 bucks per month, especially considering that there's not many sites out there that are.
The Conclusion:
Unfortunately I'm going to be quick to say to save your money and look elsewhere for your video needs. Sure there are many video clips to check out here, probably more than almost any other site we've seen, but the lack of design, quality and content information really takes away from any sort of enjoyment, especially for almost $40 bucks per month. Overall this is one big content site with some nice download options, but that's about it. The super high quality that was promised is lacking as is the site design and personality. I guess I was just expecting to see a bit more out of Long Movie Downloads, especially for what they're charging for admission.
