Lollipop Twinks is up for review today, and it looks like a newer hardcore gay site in a network of a few other similar sites. From the tour (and the name), they obviously focus on younger guys here getting it on in hardcore scenes, and they actually really get into the lollipop thing, which is weird. I thought it was a clever marketing name to imply the 18-20 year old age range, but these guys actually suck on lollipops during the whole scene, and it freaks me out a little. They'll be fucking anal, and one dude will tell the other one to lick his lollipop, and he means the grape candy literally! Oh well. For now, it's a pretty small site, which will hurt them a bit. $25 a month gets you in the door, which is probably about what I'd expect here.
The Pros
Exclusive gay content.
The content is pretty unique here, with bright colors and the whole lollipop thing going on. It's clearly all exclusive content, as the scenes are all put together similarly. All the guys fit the twink definition in my book, and then they all offer at least oral, and usually hardcore anal scenes. Once it grows, it should be a nice collection.
Quality is decent.
They don't offer HD in terms of downloads, but even the SD downloads look decent here. The streaming videos look nice as well, especially once you get to their highest quality setting of course (which they call HD - though I can't really verify).
Other Good Stuff:
The site is growing, just a little slowly. At least there's new content though.
I like how fast the streaming player worked, with videos starting and changing instantly, even on the highest setting.
You get a few similar sites included with your membership, which should help keep you busy with so little to see here.
The navigation features should come in handy as the site grows. You can filter by category, change how galleries are displayed, etc.
The Cons
Very small collection.
The size is really going to hurt them here unfortunately. They have just 13 scenes up right now, and you can breeze through those relatively quickly. Updates are coming, but pretty slowly, so I think the size is going to be an issue here for quite a while unfortunately.
Updates are a bit slow.
They come regularly at least, but they only seem to come every 10 days or so with a new scene. At that rate, it's going to take quite a while to build the collection unfortunately. I look for weekly updates at minimum, and more is better, but this schedule is just pretty damn slow.
Minor Negatives:
For how colorful the scenes are, the design here is a bit plain in my opinion.
The models index is for their whole network of sites, and you aren't able to see the models for just one site from what I can tell.
The pictures look really nice here, but they're a bit small at 1000x667 unfortunately. I'd love to see a larger option available, even if it's just in the zip files.
Bottom Line
There's some good content and options here, but it's really new right now.
The size and update schedule are going to dominate everything here at Lollipop Twinks for a long time by my guess. Their content is pretty good with fun scenes, models that fit the genre, and decent quality. The options aren't bad with a few navigation features and just the right download options. However, with 13 scenes up and slow updates, that's all I'll mostly remember here for now. They really need to boost that collection size, and updates every week and a half won't do that very well. The network access will help a little, but for now, I'm a bit torn on this site.
