PROS:

 BOTTOM LINE:

"A straightforward pornstar site with lots of galleries and a lesser number of videos."
Known Porn Stars tagline is "Uncommon & Photos & Videos" which doesn't seem to flow or make perfect sense to me. I guess it's the "uncommon" part that doesn't quite fit with a site specializing in known porn stars. Oh well that's not all that important but it was the first thing I noticed about the site so I figured I'd share my thoughts on how the site is promoted.

The Goods:

- Content Is What The Tour Says. Bouncing around the guest pages a bit will give you an accurate portrayal of the models and kind of content found in the member's area. It's a straightforward collection of galleries and video clips featuring familiar porn star chicks.

- Clean Design & Simple Navigation. The content can be browsed chronologically by updates with pictures and videos each having their own separate sections. Also, pornstars are listed in an alphabetical model index linking to all of each girl's content. A simple keyword search box is also offered for searching out names.

- Network Access. A pretty good number of bonus sites give members some more for their money.

The Bads:

- Inconsistent Content Formatting. For the pictures this means the size and quality varies. Some pics are approaching what we at TBP consider hi-res but others are more average looking. Videos are sometimes offered as one big file and other times as smaller clips. The one positive in this area would be that zip files for the pic galleries are available.

- Many More Pictures than Videos. The number of photo galleries far outweighs the number of videos. For a site of this kind I'd like to see more balance than there can be found right now.

- Missing Updates. At the time of this review the site hasn't been updated in over a month. Actually the most recent updates are clearly posted on the guest tour as well as in the member's area. No updates for any significant amount of time is always a problem.

Conclusion:

Known Porn Stars is one of those sites that hasn't taken any special steps to stand out from the crowd. Pornstar content is readily available everywhere and there's no one spectacular item like quantity or quality or number of models that would make this a must see. To be fair there aren't any serious problems either, it's kind of a middle-of-the-pack site for the pornstar niche.
