After this site, I may never be able to eat or look at kiwi's the same. KiwiPuff.com is home to more than 258+ DVD's covering a variety of niche categories for a low $9.95 per month, or $19.95 every 3 months. Although the price is small, I'm not sure what the difference is between this site and their other, previously reviewed DVD site, Cherry Puff, except for a lesser amount of videos and a slightly different variety. With that said, this is a very basic site without all the bells and whistles one might have come to expect from a DVD site, but at least it won't put a dent in your pocket to check it out.
The Good:
- Hundreds of full-length DVD videos in various niche categories. You'll find some old school videos as well as some of the newer DVD content, although some of the categories (such as anal, interracial, etc.) didn't have much to see.
- $9.95 per month is a sweet deal for just about any site nowadays, not to mention a DVD site.
The Bad:
- DVD's are click and play/in-browser only and without the option for download. That's right, there are no downloads available for members.
- Video quality leaves a lot to be desired. There are basically only 2 (Real Player) options for viewing and even the "broadband" option is less than average. The 3rd option is a DivX file, and those take forever to download.
- Basic site design. The site design is so basic that there aren't even any browsing options besides the category menu listed. There's no way to browse by actress, studio, niche, or anything of that sort.
- No clear update schedule makes it hard to tell just how often new content can be expected. Sure they've already got a nice-sized archive of content going, but I'd like to see some date stamps and updates showing what's new, etc.
The Conclusion:
I hate to say it, but I probably wouldn't spend too much time here. I had a real hard time focusing and even desiring to be on the site, and I didn't find that there were all too many videos in many of the more niche specific categories. Even the more general ones like oral didn't seem to have all that much. Simply put, this is a simple site with a simple price, but for me that left a whole lot to be desired.
