Kirsten's Room is the website of an 18 year old girl from BC, Canada, who broadcasts her life on the internet. She invites viewers to watch her most intimate moments and interact with her, as well. This blond cutie looks quite young and has a very impressive set of ta-tas that she is only too happy to share with her webcams and viewing public. The tour runs much like any other amateur site, but the cute girl and webcam focus captured my attention.
The Goods -
This is a great site for fans of webcams. Kirsten has five cam broadcasting from her office, living room, kitchen, and two in her bedroom 24/7. She also plans to install a cam on her deck very soon. Kirsten does set shows, as well, but none seem to currently be scheduled. They seem to still be setting things up right now so hopefully we'll get some dates soon. In the mean time, you can watch her sleep (aw, doesn't she look cozy?).
The cam video quality was pretty good. I could see her bedroom fan spinning while she slept and it looked to be refreshing every 1 to 2 seconds. The quality of her galleries and prerecorded videos was also nice enough. The pictures were good sized at 1024x768 and really sharp.
The Bads -
Updates can be very erratic. In her photo gallery section, two months passed between updates. The video section saw nothing new added for five months! In her diary, it was another two months in between entries. The good news is that all three sections have seen updates within the last week or so, and it looks like things will improve.
Some of the galleries don't feature actual photos, instead they're just vidcaps. I'm not a big fan of vidcap galleries so at a minimum it would be nice if it was noted which galleries were vidcaps and which were digital pictures.
None of the videos have any viewing options and they vary quite a bit in format and quality. She's got mpegs, avis, movs, and wmvs. Quality is mixed but for the most part was lacking compared to her photo galleries. The whole section could be stronger.
Conclusion -
With so many amateur sites to choose from, a site needs something interesting to stand out. Kirsten's webcams are just that. Even though time may pass between actual site updates, you're almost guaranteed to catch her on cam every day and that's a big bonus. The site has a few areas that need work, and in all honesty I think it's overpriced right now at $30 a month, but there is certainly a lot of potential here. With a few changes, this could be a very entertaining, worthwhile amateur site.
