Intro

Katja Kean is a site dedicated to content from this pornstar who had an adult film career that started in the late 1990's and lasted for a few years until 2000. She definitely qualifies as a blonde bombshell, is a native of Denmark, and did films in Europe as well as with U.S. based studios. The site consists of mix of picture galleries, scenes from her movies, and a handful of full-length movies where she is featured. The guest tour is pretty light on details/samples so for a set-up like this a review and site fact content details like those above can be helpful.

The Pros

Katja Hardcore/Solo Content; Movies, Scenes, & Pictures.

The content here includes both movies and pictures. The videos are a mix with a handful of full-length films including Pink Prison, Constance, Nurses in Heat, The Best of Katja Kean, and 100% Katja Kean. These are big files at around 700MB to 1.4GB in size. Then there are individual scenes from other movies that range from about 25-150MB each. All the movies/videos are hardcore action from her films. Pictures are more of a mixture of stuff with Katja in solo, hardcore, behind-the-scenes, etc. There are a couple dozen total galleries.

Good Download Speeds, Straightforward WMV/AVI Files.

The download speeds are better than I'm used to seeing at most paysites. They were coming at around 1.5 to 2.0MB/sec which helps in saving not only the clips but especially those full-length movies. WMV is used on the clips and AVI on the full movies.

Other Good Stuff:

Movies and videos have some helpful details posted including title, year, and video file size info. The full films ones also have running time.
Katja biography and film credit information is included in the member's area.

The Cons

Jumble of Non-Exclusive Content, Pretty Small Collection.

This is a Katja archive or tribute site and my feeling is that they need to ramp up the amount of content here. They haven't gone beyond the basics of having some movie and some picture content. Additionally it really is a mixed bag of stuff without much attention to detail in terms of laying things out in different sections or offering something extra beyond just this general pic/vid stuff.

Low Quality Videos, Specs & Formats Vary, No Options.

Video options aren't offered on the scenes as they only have one option available, either the WMV or AVI. The specs come in about 900k 512x384 or 1500k 640x480 so the range is from average to low.

Small Low Quality Pictures, Some are Screen Caps, No Zips.

The picture content is a real grab bag of stuff with images, video captures, and thumbnail collage images. No image options or zip downloads are provided. Image sizes top out around 1024x670 but those are the exception with more common sizes being more like 600x400.

Minor Negatives:

Navigation and design is very basic without any categorization other than basic video and photo pages. Site feels old and out of date.
No updates are being made nor are there any details shown about past additions. Even an archive site like this is capable of adding new material every so often.

Bottom Line

A small/simple archive of movies & photos featuring late 90's pornstar Katja Kean.
