Hitting up the tour for Kate's Playground, you'll find out quick that she's fuckin hot. The site gives off a slight corporate amateur vibe to me since she looks like she's no beginner at modeling, but who cares if these people convinced her to keep involved with the site! I also got a bit afraid while browsing around that it was starting to look like a non-nude site, but she does get topless inside for your membership (which is $25 recurring at $20 each month after that). She does offer full-nude sets, but you have to buy those separately which is a pretty sore spot for me unfortunately.
The goods:
- Pretty large site. A couple months back, we counted over 270 photosets and over 150 videos which is pretty damn good for a solo site. I think she's been around at least a couple of years, and with her regular updates she's just built up quite a decent collection in that time.
- Updates come pretty regularly. Every few days a new photo or video set is put up, and they bulk up the updates list by putting up new wallpapers and such as well. The size of the site is definitely one of the strong suits, so the regular updates are definitely helping to push that along.
- A bit of interaction available. She has a forum, journal, and cam shows up, though they're not quite as active as I'd like to see. The forum is decent, but journal updates only come every couple weeks, and there are currently no cam shows scheduled. I like the effort, but I'd love it if they were fully functioning.
- She's hot!! Enough said :)
The bads:
- Video quality needs work. Not only is the quality a bit disappointing, but they weren't too exciting for me either. They're usually made as behind-the-scenes of a photoshoot, and that just wasn't too fun. I'd love videos made to be just entertaining videos, and the quality is definitely below average right now.
- May be too softcore for some. She only gets topless and teasing in her main member's area which could disappoint some. Come here for a hot chick though and you'll be fine.
- Fully nude sets are an extra cost. I hate upsells, and this one in particular bugs me. She offers about 15 sets that feature Kate fully nude, but they're like $15 a piece to buy them. Most other sites throw all the content in for free, but here they want to milk you for it. I understand the business decision, but people aren't used to that and would expect to get everything she offers.
Conclusion:
If you come here for a large collection of Kate and think she looks awesome, I think you'll have a great time here. If you're just looking for one more porn site to join real quick, you may be a bit disappointed with the upsell for nudity thing (or maybe I'm just really bitter). She does a lot of stuff right here, but there are definite areas for improvement as well. If she can clean those things up a bit, I think she'd be sitting pretty as a very solid solo site.
