Karup's Private Collection is a simple site with hardcore and softcore picture and video content. I like the way the members area is kept clear of any advertisements. These guys have put together a whole lot of content. The best way to describe the site is to say it falls somewhere between a corporate mega-site and an exclusive amateur photography site. They provide a large amount of pictures and videos in many niches some of which is exclusive and some of which is not. What these guys do is purchase photos from a couple dozen photographers. Some of what they have can only be seen on their sites while other picture sets are licensed to Karup's as well as other adult sites.
In addition to the simple members area, the real value of Karup's is that there's around 750,000 pictures the bulk of which is very high quality. Most pictures have my two favorite qualities to them, they are sharp and big. From what I saw, the typical newer pic came in at about 700x1000 or larger. I guess the photographers these guys buy from know what they're doing. That being said, lots of the older pictures are smaller and of much lower quality. Karup's has been around a long time judging by the copyright dates on the pics that include years back to 1997. What passed for quality porn on the net back then doesn't fly today and you can tell when you've arrived at one of those old sets.
Things are organized into "Collections", five of which are for the photos. Those are further broken down into the following "Albums": Amateurs, Models, Teens, Asian, Exotics, Older Women, Anal, Guy/Girl, BJs, Bondage, Girl/Girl, 3 or More, Girl w/ Toys, More Babes, More Sex. Some have significantly better stuff than others. As you might expect, the strongest sections are the Amateurs, Models, Teens, Older Women, Girl/Girl etc. The drop off takes place when you get into more hardcore such as Anal or Bondage. I know I saw lots of rehashed old junk in the Anal galleries. My recommendation is to go in expecting to experience lots of excellent softcore with a bit of cool hardcore. As an alternative to browsing the "Collections", there is an A-to-Z index of models with face preview thumbs and a search engine.
The videos or "Homegrown Movies" as they call them are a couple hundred hardcore and solo masturbation clips. Windows Media Player is the format of choice here and there's only one download size per clip. The quality is really good, but it does vary a bit from movie to movie. From what I say it looks like hardcore boy/girl sex scenes make up the bulk of this section. Rounding out the site's content is the "Feeds Page" that has some outside movie content including Hustler, SoCal Streams, Dreamzotic, Pornication, and others. These can be found in most paysites, but at least it adds to the amount of broadband content available. The $29.95/mo price tag is to be expected for sites like this especially considering the 750,000 picture database they've compiled.

I don't expect Karup's to be making changes to their site anytime soon. This is one of those porn sites that sticks to the basics because for them that's what works. They still don't even bother with a flashy design; the single selling point remains the massive archive of pictures and videos. The only thing I can report on is the updates which continue at a rate of five per week. Most are photo additions although one out of every four or five is a new movie clip. While there is some hardcore niches including stuff like anal, blowjobs, and girl/girl, that's not what Karups is about. Much of the hardcore is older or rehashed porn that's not too exciting. The best thing about Karups is the seemingly collection of softcore models, teens, and amateurs. Both the picture and video sections are crammed with sexy girls and actually the videos might surprise you with a good number of hardcore scenes.
