JoyOfSpex.com is a uniquely themed website presenting erotic photos and videos of beautiful young women wearing glasses. This website is a labor of love started by three friends who shared some spare time and an attraction to bespectacled women. The result is a community-focused website dedicated to providing fellow lens loving surfers with quality content of real girls who really wear glasses.
It's tough to know what the glasses attraction is based on. Does it come from a schoolgirl/secretary/librarian fantasy of the studious type getting a little freaky? Are the glasses viewed as simply another fashion accessory akin to stockings and heels? Maybe it's a reversal of societal norms where the tables are turned and the bookworms in school get their revenge. The webmasters make it clear that all of the models on the site really do wear glasses in real life and aren't just posing in empty frames. They even post each models' glasses power (poor Kathlene wears a -8!). The women talk about how old they were when they first got glasses and list off other biographical details like their favorite book, an interesting fact, and the usual stuff like favorite position and sexual fantasy. I get the impression that the bios are true, based on the amateur models they are using and the fact that they seem realistic (meaning the women actually have personalities and interests other than just being slammed by giant cocks. Mae, in particular, would like to talk to you about the rise of capitalism to post-modernity, with an emphasis on the discourse of gender and power). There are a few nerds, a few tattooed chicks, one pan-sexual and several sushi eaters (and I'm not necessarily talking lesbians). Overall, the girls are your normal looking college student types who happen to wear glasses.
The site is still on the small side with only 2,135 photos currently available. Unfortunently the update schedule is a little unreliable. They seem to average one new gallery per week though sometimes two weeks may pass without anything new. I'd definitely like to see a more consistant schedule implemented. All of the content is exclusive and most of the models are, as well. There are a few familiar amateur faces there who have contributed personal galleries to the site but these sets are also limited to just Joy of Spex and the models' personal site so it's unlikely that you've seen any of it before. Picture quality is very good. I just wish they were bigger. 540x720 isn't bad but I see no reason why they couldn't make use of these sharp images at a larger size. The pics are definitely amateur in style but the clarity is a step above most amateur sites.
There are also 17 videos online. The videos are each about 20 minutes long segmented into clips. They play in Quicktime in your browser and are streaming only. This was disappointing to find. Judging from their message board there are a few other fans who'd like to the videos to be available for downloading, as well. They say they're looking into additional streaming options so hopefully a download option will come in time. The videos are very sharp looking. If they could just be a little bit bigger they'd be perfect. They're definitely on the right track. The video content ranges from interviews where the women talk about their experiences, both sexual and glasses related, to all out hardcore sex, though the majority of the scenes are solo masturbation. I enjoyed the videos, I just wish there were more viewing options.
JoyOfSpex.com is a very different site from what we normally look at here. It's not corporate based, quality is more important than quantity, and the models come across as normal, natural women. There are still some things I'd like to see improved, like bigger pictures and videos, more updates, and more video options, but I feel they've laid the foundation for a successful niche site. This is indeed a niche site and won't appeal to everyone, but I think it's a nice detour from the contact-wearing silicone goddesses that are available on every other porn site.
