My philosophy on solo girl sites is that they should have some specialty that will appeal to a target group of surfers. There are so many amateurs out there that I like to see anything that separates them from the crowd. Joon Mali has the cute Thai chick angle and she also points out here bubble butt. The site is a straightforward softcore collection of her showing off her body.
The Goods:
- Balanced Amount of Pic/Vid Content. The number of photo galleries and videos are about equal which is a good sign for a solo girl site. With the update pace they employ of one new gallery and video per week will ensure the two parts of the site grow equally.
- Good Video Quality & Options. There are three quality levels of both WMV and Real Player formats plus an additional iPod format for downloading. This is quite a bit of choice for an amateur girl and the quality of the highest WMV files looks nice.
- Mix of Shoot Locations. A good number of the shoots are done outdoors on the beach which fits well with her exotic Asian background. She also mixes up her outfits including many bikinis for those interested in that.
The Bads:
- Not a Very Large Site. The overall amount of content is only okay. While the number of videos equals the picture galleries the vids are not all that long so it's possible to move through them rather quickly.
- Faster Updates Would Help. One gallery and one video per week is the current update pace so there is room for improvement there. Even if they just bumped that up to two of each per week it would really help.
- Not Much Member Interaction. There is a diary with a short entry about once per week. Interaction really isn't a focus here as the pictures and videos are the main thrust of the site.
Conclusion:
Joon Mali's site fits the mold of a solo girl site where the chick shows off her body for the camera. The design fits well with the theme and when we get back for a follow-up I expect the site will have grown a bit. The special price they have set up for TBP helps a bit on the value score.
