Intro

This is the official website of Jesse Jane who is a blonde bombshell babe with the Digital Playground production company. In addition to her adult films she has also done Playboy TV, appeared on mainstream radio shows like Stern and Carolla, and is a past winner of the Hawaiian Tropic pageant. The guest tour here is pretty informative with the ability to get a preview of the photo and video sections along with her bio and some of the other site features. I'm sure fans are on top of much of this stuff already however it's helpful to surfers who aren't as familiar with her work.

The Pros

Jesse Jane Official Site; Personal, Girl/Girl, & Girl/Guy Content.

Official pornstar sites are a breed all to themselves since they do focus on one model but also have a different feel than most amateurs. Jesse has all the parts you look for in terms of content with galleries and videos along with personal and interaction features. As you'd expect from a pornstar she can be seen here in a mix of solo, girl/girl, and guy/guy action so there's a nice variety.

Good Sized Picture/Video Collection, Fairly Steady Updates.

Jesse does pretty well when it comes to quantity as there are a few hundred total video scenes and over two hundred photo galleries. Her 'Personal Video' section is a bit larger than the 'Movie' section which has more studio stuff and that's a plus. So between those three main content sections (personal videos, movies, & galleries) it's a nicely balanced collection without any one area being too dominated or too small.

Other Good Stuff:

Jesse's interaction features include webcam shows, appearance schedule, diary, buest book, Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace. These items seem to be up to date with recent and upcoming entries/shows/appearances.
The in-browser Flash streaming for the videos is good quality, loads/buffers quickly, and allows for immediate jumping ahead.

The Cons

No Downloads, Videos are Streaming-Only & No Gallery Zips.

No doubt about it when it comes to negative items the lack of video and picture gallery downloads is the main issue here. Digital Playground has streaming only on some of their content too so it's not all that surprising that they would go with just Flash on Jesse's site. With more and more sites moving in the direction of more formats and higher-res options that lack of downloads on a site like this does really hurt. I'm sure Jesse's fans would like to save some of these scenes for later.

Not a Lot of Content Shoot Details & Unusual Diary Entries.

Not a whole lot of information is posted on the individual shoots. Sometimes other pornstar names and a short one-line title is provided however with this stuff being from different times, shoots, movies, and sources I would have liked additional specifics. Her diary doesn't have standard posts but instead has an odd collection of picture snapshots, short video clips, and article type stuff. It feels more like something that could be done by an employee more that Jesse herself.

Minor Negatives:

Update information isn't posted on the main photo and video pages unlike Jesse's personal videos page where each item is date-stamped.
The monthly price here is higher than is typical for a paysite. Also, the member's area has page of 'bonus sites' which are actually just banner ads for other company sites.

Bottom Line

A nice sized collection content from Jesse Jane however the lack of downloads hurts.

For the most part Jesse Jane's site has all the content components in place that I like to see from a pornstar's site. She's got a well balanced picture and video collection and interaction mostly thru the webcam shows and her appearance schedule along with Twitter and Facebook. The main sticking point that will frustrate fans is the lack of downloads. That stands out as a key issue for any site when streaming-only videos are used and Jesse is no exception.
