Today we're reviewing a site called Jeremy Roddick, and I'm have a little bit of a tough time placing what kind of site it is. It's definitely a gay site, and there are definitely some scenes with a guy named Jeremy Roddick in them. However, many of the more recent scenes are just other dudes instead. The tour lets you browse through the site, so you can see that it's not a huge collection, and we have no idea when they update. $30 is what it'll take to get in the door, which is of course a bit on the high side.
The goods:
- Exclusive gay content. Hey, hey, it's definitely the big reason to join the site. Even if Jeremy isn't in the scene, I think they're all exclusive videos here. The scenes all feature similar stars as well, so things feel consistent across the board.
- Design is decent. It's simple, but it looks good overall. You know I'm stretching here when it's half of the "goods" I have listed.
The bads:
- Small collection. With just 25 scenes up currently, and updates that are slower than expected, I'd say the size of the site is a concern here. You just may get bored rather quickly after viewing everything, and be stuck with a semi-expensive membership.
- Updates aren't dated, may be slower. I couldn't find dates anywhere on the site personally, either in the member's area, or the tour. We do our own content counts though, and they have averaged one update a month or so by our guess.
- Expensive, for now. With a small collection and not so many updates, $30 is really a lot to pay for the site currently. If we could step both of those areas up a bit, it wouldn't be such a bad deal.
Conclusion:
The site is off to an okay start, but they really need to keep up with the updates here if they want to succeed. The content is good enough, and the site looks good. However, with so little content and not a ton of updates, I'd be interested in looking elsewhere rather quickly to get my next fix.
