Intro

JAV Model is a huge online collection of Japanese adult videos. It's a DVD site with thousands of videos featuring Japan's hottest stars in wild Asian action. Online for over a decade already, JAV Model promises "the world's premier Japanese Adult Video compilation."

The Pros

Entertaining hardcore collection.

JAV Model features a great mix of Japanese hardcore, offering themes like cosplay, bukkake, schoolgirl, bondage, pissing, lesbians, shaving, and more. These videos are straight from Japan, so expect very authentic scenes with real Japanese babes and Japanese dialogue.

Large site.

JAV Model has over 10 years of content online, so members can currently enjoy more than 2,859 videos. Each movie is 1-2 hours long, so there is really an amazing amount of Japanese content here.

Good quality scenes.

The videos here are all professional, you have the benefit of talented studio quality work. The wmvs play at 2000k and are 852 x 480. The older ones drop off a bit in quality, but overall I was impressed with the sharpness of the collection.

Other Good Stuff:

Videos can be streamed in browser using Flash and downloaded as an mp4 and wmv.
Updates come just about daily. This week alone 16 new scenes were added, so the site's growing at a great pace.
There are a few tools for getting around the site, including a chronological list, alphabetical model index, and a list of categories.

The Cons

Non-exclusive content.

All of the scenes on JAV Model come from DVDs, so you won't find anything original here. If you've spent much time on similar sites, you may recognize quite a bit of the content.

Needs more browse tools.

Although getting around the site wasn't too hard, considering the size of the collection I'd love to see a few more tools. An advanced search for both the scenes and models would be helpful. It would also be great if the categories, models, and video types were cross-linked so it's easier to find similar content.

Minor Negatives:

Many of the videos here are censored. That's not a big surprise, considering the genre, but keep in mind that in a lot of these scenes, genitals and insertions are blurred.
Little information is provided for the scenes. There are no descriptions, just some categories and a boxcover. Unless you speak Japanese, unfortunately that boxcover won't tell you much.

Bottom Line

A huge collection of entertaining authentic Japanese movies.

JAV Model impressed me immediately with the sheer size of the collection. The number of full-length movies and the speed at which they're growing is fantastic. The quality is solid and they've got a fair number of user tools. There's room for more, and there's room for a bump up in quality, but they're not really suffering in either of those areas. The price is $30 a month, which is fair for a collection like this. Keep in mind that these aren't original scenes, but if you're a fan of Japanese hardcore, this long-running site is well worth a look.
