Intro

Jason Sparks Live is where gay porn guy Jason has a collection of live webcam shows and archived shows/videos. The content revolves around the archive of recorded shows which are downloadable and then a schedule shows upcoming show events. Jason does a lot of travelling and he features a lot of different guys. Sometimes Jason is in the shoot and other times it's just other men.

The Pros

Live & Recorded Shows, Jason & Other Guys in Hardcore/Solo.

Jason has a mostly hardcore gay collection of show videos with a smaller number of scenes with solo guys. Sometimes Jason is in on the action and other times it's just other models. The hardcore has a lot of group action and there is a good range of guys that mostly have an amateur style with some that look more like pros. The live cam shows do continue to roll out as they have a schedule of those and Jason posts to his Twitter with his travels as the shows take place from various locations.

MP4 Downloadable Files, Some HD, Flash Streaming.

Video options have the fundamentals covered with full-scene MP4 files for downloading. Some of the newer updates feature higher specs of 2000k 1280x720 so they are ramping up quality a bit. The in-browser Flash streaming rounds out the video options.

Other Good Stuff:

Jason has a collection of candid behind-the-scene photos of him in all sorts of different places he's travelled. It's sort of like a photo travelogue of places he's been.
All shows have clear update info posted and running time length. Shows with HD quality videos are tagged/marked with an icon.
Jason has a Twitter feed which is active and has info about upcoming locations where he's headed.

The Cons

Short Show Schedule, Only One 'Next Show' Item Posted.

In the member's area there is a LiveShows tab on the navigation header. Under there I found one upcoming show which is s few days out. Since this is a 'Live' themed site I thing a more detailed and long-term calendar or schedule would be in order with announcements, numerous future shows, etc. In general the site updates were going along weekly however this has slipped with no new additions for a month leading into this review.

Most Scenes Don't Have the HD Level Quality Videos.

They have made the move to high-def on some newer addition but actually not all the new scenes have the better specs. Most scenes re more like 640x480 1500k. Even the HD level they've gone with is on the low end of what's considered high-def at 1280x720 2000k.

Minor Negatives:

When opening a show page the in-browser Flash streaming always stats playing. This can get a bit annoying if you're just going for the download links.
There isn't a biography of Jason which would have given users a chance to learn more about him and his background.

Bottom Line

Jason has gay hardcore & solo action revolving around live & recorded show videos.

Jason Sparks sort of walks the line between a standard video site and a fully active constant live show collection. They do have live shows occasionally and the Twitter feed gives the site regular activity. The bulk of the content is in the recorded shows and videos that have a lot of gay hardcore and groupsex with some solo/interview action too. It's an entertaining mix of content although I think there's room for further emphasis on the live aspect with a more details schedule, show location info, etc.
