Japan Hardcore Movies is set up so guests can browse around the site exactly as members see it. This means you can get a good look at what movie titles and actresses appear in the collection. It's easy enough to see what they have to offer especially with the numerous screen caps that are shown.
The Goods:
- Lots of Hardcore Japanese Movies. The collection consists of hundreds of movie scenes which is good to see from a site focused just on Japanese porn movies.
- Nice Quality WMV Videos. Most of the videos are in 1500k WMV format which are good quality. Each is broken into scene length clips which vary from around 100-300Mb in size.
- 'Uncensored' Japanese Porn. Often times Japanese sites like this feature a lot of those censored Japanese flicks where the hardcore action is blurred out. That's not the case here. I browed around quite a bit checking out the preview thumbs and didn't see any of that. This should be of real interest to fans of this niche.
The Bads:
- No Category Browsing Available. The movies are only browseable by the model index. Considering how many videos are on the site it would be nice if they broke down the collection into different categories so members could find the action they're looking for.
- Thumbs Could be Better Organized. The preview thumb pictures aren't broken down by scene or anything. They're just shown on one long list. Couldn't they separate them by scene?
- Some Lower Quality Movies. In browsing the collection I ran into several WMV files that were 384k. They enough of these lower quality vids that I noticed them and it is a significant drop in quality from the standard level.
Conclusion:
Clearly there are a number some positives and negatives that I found on this site. Out of all of them the 'uncensored' aspect of the movies really stood out most. It seems like whenever I review a Japanese movie site I have to put up with that stupid blurring crap so the lack of that here is noteworthy. Finally, although there isn't a huge update archive it does appear they add new stuff every couple days or so.

Japan Hardcore Movies continues to update with five movies per week. The total number of movies is well into the hundreds and getting close a thousand scenes (as of Oct '07). To the site itself has made a few adjustments that help at as well. In addition to the model index they've added niche categories for browsing. They have the movies broken into the most popular common sense categories along with section for New Movies and 5-Star AV Idols. Newer movies also have iPod/MP4 format to go along with the standard WMV. Finally, it seems they've also gotten around to updating the quality on some of the older movies. I didn't run into the lower quality files that I saw during my initial review.
Score increased from 77.0 to 80.5.

It's steady as she goes for Japan Hardcore Movies. They continue to update so the amount of total videos remains an impressive part of the site. The action remains totally dedicated to authentic hardcore movies with Japanese performers without any blurring or censoring. The functionality has held steady with niche categorization and an alphabetical model index. One thing they could use would be more model details since I'm sure many fans aren't familiar with the bios or resume's of these Japanese girls. Full-movie WMV files that are pretty good quality remain the main downloading choice along with and iPod secondary option. All-in-all Japanese Hardcore Movies has more good things going for it and the negatives aren't as significant. It's worth a look for surfers who enjoy Japanese videos.
