(recurring)Jack's Playground is up for review today, and they don't actually give you a ton of info on what kind of content he offers here. It looks like it's from a line of DVDs that you may or may not have heard of, but that's about all I know. They seem to offer pretty standard hardcore scenes, with Jack being the star and fucking lots of pornstars. There's everything from POV to threesomes, but like I said, it's all pretty standard in the end. $34 a month gets you into the site, which is pretty high for what they offer here.
Pretty large collection.
The size of the site is one of the best things going for it. With around 280 photo galleries, and over 400 videos, there's a decent amount to see here for sure. Many of the videos are from DVDs, so hopefully you'll like large groups of videos together that were from the same line.
Though it's not exclusive, the content is all-original at least. I think they shoot all their own material here, but you may have seen it before in DVD form, or on other sites of theirs.
Videos are all streaming-only.
This one is a huge pain. You can't download any of the videos here, as all they offer is a streaming option. For the price, I would have hoped for more here. It's even worse since I don't think it's exclusive material, so you may even find it downloadable elsewhere (I have no idea).
Updates are not dated.
I don't know when they update here at all. It looks like the site is growing at least, but it's tough to put a number on them without having more info. As it is now, we're just stuck in the dark.
Search could be better.
You can browse by scene, full movie, or model, and they have a small search box, but that's about it. Each scene is tagged at least, but there's no place to find a master list of these tags to choose from (which would help immensely).
The embedded video that starts playing automatically both in the tour and member's area is quite annoying. Be careful if you're in any danger of being caught, as you have to turn the thing off several times while browsing around.
Each video page is basically an upsell to buy that video. It sucks to pay $34, not be able to download the video, but be pressed to spend more money to buy the damn thing.
Since there are no downloads, I think the streaming player could be more robust. Thankfully it loads quick, and offers three quality levels, but more features would still help. A larger size (other than full-screen) would be a start, as would maybe some type of video preview to help you jump around a bit.
I assume since this stuff is available on DVD that the content is not 100% exclusive here. There could be some, but they don't label it at all, so I have no idea.
There are no zip files available here for the photo galleries, which may be annoying for some.

Jack's Playground isn't really bad in any one area, but there are lots of little things going against the site that cause problems as a whole. First, you're paying a lot at $34 a month. Thankfully you get a pretty good amount of content, which definitely helps. Updates are a big question mark, but it looks like the site is updating overall. The videos are not downloadable, and you're offered an upsell at every turn to buy said video that you are watching. As far as getting around, there's a basic search box, and they do show some tags on each video, but there's no master search area to view all these tags. It's just a mixed bag overall, and I wish some things like downloads were offered just to make things simpler. There's a lot to see, and the scenes are fun enough, but the site itself just has a few issues holding it back.
