Get ready to see a buff dude on fire named Jack Lawrence! Seriously there's a ton of fire all over his tour and member's area, and he even rides a fire hose to get the point across even more (he has been to fire science academy at least to back his photos up with some real knowledge). The design and navigation here are very amateur in nature, though the content ranges from amateur to more pro shoots it looks like. Membership costs are low at $12 a month which is nice to see.
The goods:
- All exclusive content. Well at least most of it is (I guess you may find one or two shoots on other sites if he shot with someone else).
- Nice price. The low $12 entry fee is nice to see, and you can't get too much lower on most any other sites these days.
- Varied content types. You'll see everything from orgies with three women to Jack jacking off solo. He even throws in content from his buddies, and some girl/girl stuff as well. There's quite a random collection here, so there should be something you like.
The bads:
- Navigation and design need some major work. Besides all the fire everywhere, there isn't much in the way of graphic design here. Navigation is weird as well with some links not changing your mouse cursor, to the ImageFolio for his galleries which has never been one of my favorites. Another weird one was his video page which had moving thumbnails that were just too much for my eyes to handle/
- Navigation errors galore. It seems like every time I clicked something, I had a 50/50 chance of ending up back in the tour (which meant I had to re-enter the member's area). The diary link did it most for me in the menu - why not change the menu links once you're in the member's area? Also, there were times I'd hit my back button, only to have it not work correctly and take me back to the page I was trying to leave again.
- Most videos play in-browser only. I think they're in a Flash setup or something (or at least a customized player of some kind) that wasn't as good as just regular, downloadable WMV files. They do have a small section or normal WMV videos, but it's not the majority.
- Diary isn't very updated. The last entry was back in November, 2006 currently, which is just too long to go without an update.
Conclusion:
While the content may be unique and interesting here, the site itself just distracted me from the fun. With so many little problems and difficulties getting around, it was hard to press through it all. I'd also love to see more content overall, and I have no idea how often the site updates. I'm all for running your own site, but this one is just a little more difficult than usual and could use a refresher for me.
