Video Quality Looks Good.
The latest 2 video updates here are HD quality and look incredible! They offer 10000k bitrate speeds and sizing up to 1440 x 1088. These are very nice looking videos and I hope they continue more soon. Even the ones prior that don't offer HD specs have bitrate speeds around 4000k-6000k and also look really nice.
Videos are offered in Flash streaming (clipped segments), as well as full or partial clips in WMV, MP4 (mobile) and MOV formats. Zips are offered for the image sets.
There is a basic design script going here that cross-links content from similar categories as well as the models in each shoot. It makes getting around easy enough.
Image size ranges but can be large at times and offer good picture quality.
Not Enough Interaction With Ivey.
Ivey doesn't offer anything in the form of webcam shows, chat, blogs, news pages or anything else to give some added personality to the site. Even her bio is simply listed int he tour and doesn't give anything in the form of age, location or super personal.
Updates Can be Sporadic.
Updates appear to have started again recently, but before then there was nothing for months this year. While I see new updates promised again this week, more time is needed to know for sure. Consistency is key when it comes to any solo amateur site.
Small Site Stil.
Currently there are just 80-something image galleries and 25 videos to check out. For almost $30 bucks per month, at this point, the real value comes in with the bonus site access.
Basic browse/design script set up. It works, but it does take away from the feel/personality of the amateur site some. At least one ad is in the member's area.
A small site that needs to continue updating with its HD videos!
While I enjoyed Ivey Ames' content, and certainly the quality of the videos, I couldn't help be disappointed by her lack of interaction and recent updates for her fans. It's good to see they've starting picking up with updates again, but only time well tell how they stick with it. The good news is bonus site access is offered, the quality again, is very nice, and she does at least offer some good scene/model info for the rest of the girls featured on her site.
