Into The Attic is up for review today, and this is an amateur bondage site that gets pretty fun and severe in terms of BDSM. The Attic refers to this remote cabin in the Pacific Northwest out in the middle of nowhere where all the content is shot. Somehow, they convince girls to come way the fuck out there and shoot some pretty fun BDSM scenes, and they know what they're doing here. There's obviously a wide variety within the niche, and they try to explore as much of it as they can. $30 a month gets you in the door, which I guess is about right for a site like this.
The Pros
Great amateur bondage content.
Clearly, the theme of the site here is what will sell memberships. The content is pretty original, with lots of amateur bondage action going on. The location is perfect, and if you let your mind wander, you can probably get a sense of the uncertainty that many of them must get going in to this place.
Other Good Stuff:
They shoot all their own content, of course. I don't know how many of these models have been in other bondage scenes before, but the scenes themselves are definitely all exclusive.
They give a ton of info on each scene here, which really adds a lot of personality to the site. You hear what the girl was thinking, feeling, and doing during the shoot, as well as her thoughts before and after (plus, they offer post-shoot interviews on videos).
You can browse the whole site for free here before joining, giving you a great idea of what they have to offer. Their free tour is their member's area; you'll just need a password to actually view the content.
The Cons
Naivgation is pretty plain.
The whole site here is pretty plain I guess. Everything is very amateur in nature, and the options are few and far between. There's a models index at least, but they could do well to break each scene onto its own page (especially with those long descriptions) to make the pages shorter and less cluttered. Also beneficial would be some kind of tagging system to get some category search options going.
I'm surprised the site isn't larger.
They've been around since 2008 doing content (you would think it's been longer looking at the site in terms of design and everything), so I guess 52 weeks a year brings around 52 scenes a year, which adds up. However, I still wouldn't mind seeing more material added here.
Online photo selection is pretty weak here.
If you're into viewing the photos online in gallery format, you will be disappointed here. They only show some of the pictures online, and they're extremely small at 640x480. You're much better off downloading the zip files, which show all pictures in the gallery, plus the photos come in at 1600x1200.
Older quality is pretty bad.
Once you get back before early 2009 or so, the quality takes a huge nosedive. There's also a middle section that doesn't look as good, either. However, the oldest stuff looks the worst, and could really use an upgrade. I wouldn't even mind them going to full HD content soon.
Minor Negatives:
For some reason, they don't offer any streaming or Flash videos, which may annoy some.
Bottom Line
Some great content here, but the site is pretty amateurish still.
I guess they bill themselves as *amateur* bondage, so I shouldn't be surprised, but the whole site at Into The Attic is pretty amateur in nature. The layout, lack of options, design, etc. all scream that it's a homemade site, possibly made a few years ago. Thankfully, the updates are current and the content is great. I wouldn't mind them bumping all the way up to HD, but their videos still look nice, and it's the content of the videos that's important. They have some very unique scenes that are fun, scary, and entertaining all around. Updates come regularly, and the content is exclusive. I also wouldn't mind more material overall, especially since they've been online a few years now. I think it's a great stop to check out their offerings, as long as you don't expect the latest and greatest in terms of websites.
