PROS:

Icoo Net is a DVD download site with hundreds of DVDs in their collection. The unique thing about this site is that they have their own software that member's need to download to use the site. Basically it’s like their own download manager system that allows you to access and manage the movie files. The have sections explaining the system on the guest tour so I suggest browsing the "How it Works", "Download Software", and "FAQ" sections for detailed info.

The Goods:

- Hundreds of Full-Movie Downloadable DVDs. Icoo has hundreds of DVDs that download as one big file. There are different niches although it's definitely geared at a general hardcore audience. They add 1 new DVD per day which is what I expect from movie download sites.

- 'Icooloader' is Easy to Install. Considering they do require their own software it's remarkably quick and easy to install and use. As it happens I'm no techie when it comes to software programs so if I found it easy then just about everyone else will too.

- Pretty Fast Downloads. The full movie files are huge but the download speeds were really good for me. I suppose I have to give credit to the download network system they built the site around.

The Bads:

- Icooloader Software is Required. Even though I found it easy to use the Icooloader concept will not be appealing to some surfers. The intricacies and options will also take a few minutes of attention to figure out.

- Could Use More Navigation Options. Browsing the site is one area where I'd like to see Icoo improve. They could really use the ability to navigate by performer. That's usually a standard option for DVD sites but is missing here.

- Expensive Monthly Cost. Going with the base monthly cost will cost you an arm and a leg. Other options come with download limits so there's no appealing way to sidestep the pricey join options here.

Conclusion:

Definitely the two main items to think about here are whether they have movies you're interested in and if you're okay with using their Icooloader software. Like I said in my opening they have good info about the system and non-members can install and explore the software too. Also, it's possible to brows the movies collection before joining which means it's possible to see if they have titles of interest to you.
