"Exclusive, creative, & fun bondage action although I'm not the biggest fan of the Real video format."
You wouldn't know it by the title but House of Gord is all about bdsm fetish action. In fact they call their style of content "ultra bondage". In other words they go well beyond just typical restraints and they take it to the next level. The guest tour offers up a good number of pages with the different types of action that can be found in the member's area.

The Goods:

- Exclusive Wild Bondage Action. I'm not a bondage expert but I have reviewed quite a number of bdsm websites and Gord's shoots do indeed employ fun extreme bondage scenes that I've not seen before. The labeling of the stuff as Ultra Bondage works for me. The best example is the use of automobiles where the chicks are restrained on the front or back end driven around while all tied up. They have quite a variety of bondage and at the same time they're consistenlty thorough in their work making it fun to watch.

- Balanced Number of Pics & Vids. The number of pictures galleries only slightly outnumber the videos. Overall it's a good mix with over a couple hundred of each. I also like the little write ups that accompany the photo gallereis. It gives them even more of a personal touch.

- Search Filter Tool. Aside from the content cateegories this is really the only other navigation tool. It's helpful in imputting categories, models, types of action, and dates to find specific shoots.

The Bads:

- Real Player Videos. For some reason Gord switched from having MPEGs to Real Player movies. All the newer movie additions since late '04 have been in Real. To me this seems backwards since most surfers nowadays expect stuff that can be played in a Windows Media Player.

- Average Content Quality. I wish these guys would ramp up the picture and video quality. This is especially true for the older videos where the graininess did take away from my enjoyment.

Conclusion:

House of Gord is fun for anyone into bondage whether you're a moderate fan or a real enthusiast. The exclusivity and entertainment value are there even though they frustrated me a little bit with the quality and formatting. The one thing that's clear is that these guys thoroughly enjoy their work and are well versed on how to create interesting bondage shoots.
