Finally, a site all about women! They say this one is for you girls... HotMoviesForHer.com is a pay per view site offering around 7,000+ DVD's with a general focus on what women might want to see. Obviously both genders would enjoy these videos, but it's nice to know someone out there is thinking about us chicks; we like porn too! There is no monthly fee as pre-paid credits are used to watch the videos instead. Sign up for free and either choose a pay as you go option at $.15 cents per minute, or buy packages from 10 minutes to 600 minutes that range from $2.45 to $49.95 (equal to about $.25 cents per minute or as low as $.08 cents per minute). Obviously it's real easy to get carried away and spend some serious cash here, so pick your downloads wisely.
The Good:
- 7,000+ DVD's all chosen from a woman's perspective is quite an amazing feat. And no, this isn't all lesbian and solo erotic content, there are quite a few hardcore categories that are filled with great video content as well: 470+ anal videos, 225+ ATM, trannies, and plenty of other fetish content like BDSM, feet & shoes, amateur, MILF and more.
- Many browse features are offered including an advanced search feature, content categories, video format filters, studio, series, and star listings, etc. You can also choose to sort videos by date, name, etc.
- Currently there are 55,627+ video scenes that stream up to 1200k. The video looks pretty good, but I'd like to see even higher quality than this, to be honest. Some videos can be downloaded in DivX quality, but this will cost extra ($7.95-$14.95, depending).
The Bad:
- PPV sites can get very expensive, and Hot Movies For Her is certainly no exception. Depending on what you choose, per minute fees can range from $.08 cents per minute to $.25 cents per minute. If you're looking to download a complete scene, rental periods can cost up to $14.95 and unlimited downloads can range up to $19.95. Some videos have the option to "download to own", which averages about $14.95. And that's the other thing, download options are not consistent throughout the site.
- Quality needs improvement. At their best most of the videos only stream up to 1000k. That's nothing in the Internet world of today where many sites average streams anywhere from 2000k to 5000k.
- Many browse and user options are offered, but the site design itself looks cluttered and will take some time to get the hang of for most users.
The Conclusion:
So they're smart in marketing this PPV site towards women, but let's be honest, there probably aren't a whole lot of disgruntled husbands stumbling across their wife's collection of Internet DVD porn. While Hot Movies For Her clearly offers a super large selection of DVD content, nothing here is exclusive and the price per minute set-up gets very expensive, and very quickly. But hey, some people like the pay per view set-up and I can't fault them for it, but I can fault Hot Movies For Her for not offering better quality videos and more consistency in their download options.
