Hot Hairy Honies is up for review today, and though I'm not into the hair thing too much, it does remind me of porn from a bygone era when big bush was the norm. These girls go all-natural here and have some thick stuff to get through, but that doesn't mean they're not horny. Here, the girls generally get fucked by someone, and I'd definitely consider it a hardcore site. Otherwise, it's pretty standard stuff here, and a semi-high $30 a month will get you in the door, though at least they offer niche content.
The Pros
Exclusive hairy content.
It's a little tough to tell for sure that the content is exclusive, but I'll go with it here since nothing gives me the feeling that it's not overall. Exclusive content niche material is a good thing, and they definitely offer niche material in the form of big, hairy bushes. All the girls get fucked as well, which I wasn't necessarily expecting.
Network access included.
You get access to quite a few different sites included with your membership, which helps with the content numbers here. Granted, they're probably not hairy, as most general porn models are not, but it's more porn for your $30 at least.
Other Good Stuff:
At a bit over 110 scenes, Hot Hairy Honies isn't too small at least here. New content is coming, so hopefully those numbers will continue to rise (albeit a bit slowly).
They offer both Flash and WMV streaming options, which is better than most sites do. They were a bit slow to load/buffer with the slow download speeds, though.
The Cons
Quality needs some work.
The videos here come in pretty small and in low quality overall. You have to zoom in a bit to see them at all, and that just makes things worse of course. They're a bit grainy and pixelated, and just don't keep up with today's standards. Pictures are a little better, but still look like the pictures we saw more a few years ago in terms of quality.
Downloads were very slow.
Download programs don't really work to help, so I was stuck receiving files at about 1/30th of our usual speed, which made for some slow video downloads. They took well over 20 minutes or so to get here, and that's just too long in my opinion. Of course, it affected the streaming videos as well since the buffer times were much longer than normal.
Updates are a bit slow.
Updates come here pretty regularly, but they seem to come every 10 days or so. I'm even getting a little weary on the weekly update schedule since so many sites offer more updates than that, but when you come in slower than once a week, it's pretty bad overall.
Minor Negatives:
There aren't many navigation options here except to just view everything in chronological order.
The models index is a dropdown text list only, and they don't have an actual page setup with face previews or anything.
Bottom Line
Some okay niche content, but average at best otherwise.
The hairy niche content here is what really helps them stand out, but that's one of the better things they offer here at Hot Hairy Honies. If this was a generic porn site, they wouldn't stand a chance with the slow updates, lackluster quality, and missing options. Because of the niche content, you can look past those things somewhat, but it still holds them back in the long run. I'd love to see higher quality, more options (navigation and video options both), more frequent updates (and along with that, more content), and just a total refresher of the site to bring it up to par. For now, it looks like a dated site that at least offers something a little unique.
