Homemade Paysite is up for review today, and it looks like an amateur-type site that makes videos based supposedly on what their members ask for. They almost make it sound custom, with the option to say your name, and make it just to your specifications. Once you check out the tour, it looks like pretty standard porn stuff here, with some cute girls involved at least. They advertise over 50 HD videos, which isn't a lot, but the high definition part sounds interesting of course. You can get in for a weird price of $28.69 for the first month, which drops to $27.69 a month after that. The $1 shouldn't make a huge difference since it's almost the same price, but every little bit helps I guess.
The goods:
- HD videos look great. As expected when you throw up videos that are 1440x1080 and 4000kbps, they look pretty great here. It looks like they're putting even the older videos into this HD format, which will be even better.
- Updates come often. Every four days or so a new video is put up, which is great to see right now as the site still needs some growth. Hopefully this update schedule continues forever, or even gets better.
- Exclusive content. As expected, everything is all exclusive here. You'll see a lot of the same girls and such too, which is a good thing if you find a favorite.
The bads:
- Navigation could be better. Their list of updates has some great descriptions of the scenes, but they don't link to them at all. The actual video page has thumbnails and links to videos, but only a very small description. It just doesn't make sense. Plus, the layout looks a bit cluttered to me for now. I'd love to see the updates linked to the videos, and possibly give each video their own page with the download links. One page with one video per line and seven video links each just doesn't look great.
- Downloads were slow for me. We expect large files from these higher quality videos, but the download speed was about 1/3 of what it usually is for me unfortunately. That made for some long waits for the videos. Hopefully it's a temporary thing.
- Not many HD videos, yet. They advertise over 50 HD videos. While they have over 50 videos, and they have HD videos, they don't have over 50 HD videos yet. Only 16 of their 50+ videos come in HD for now. It sounds like they're upgrading the old ones, so hopefully this won't be a long-term issue.
Conclusion:
The idea is good here with some exclusive high definition content, with frequent updates as well. For now, it's a bit of a mixed bag, but the potential is there. I think more content will help, more HD videos will help, and then a little cleanup of the site should help too. As they grow, organization will be key so you can find what you want quickly. They're off to a good start with fun videos here, so I hope they keep it up.
