Today we're doing a little time travel, destination: the 1960s - a time of dreadlocks, unshaven pussies, natural breasts, free love, and mary jane in excess. Hippie Goddess presents "natural erotica" of "Earth loving Goddesses," basically attractive young women exploring their sexuality in natural settings. So break out the incense and cuddle up next to your favorite tree. These ladies prove that "natural IS sexy."
Most of the galleries take place outdoors in the beaches and forests of Santa Cruz, California and Portland, Oregon. Their favorite backdrops include "redwoods, Pacific Ocean beaches and other magick spots." The women strip from everyday clothes down to nothing with only logs, rocks, and water as props. You won't find any dildos or vibrators here! In fact, the entire site is very softcore. There are a few girl-girl and guy-girl sets but there is no actual sex. Instead the sets simply feature a naked woman exploring nature. The bodies of the women are all completely natural, as well, with the exception of a few piercings and tattoos. They wear little (if any) makeup, all the breasts are natural, and most of the women don't shave any of their body parts. They look like normal college-aged women for the most part. This is a collection that may appeal to softcore amateur fans, as well as those looking specifically for hairy-hippie nudes.
The older pictures are 768x1024 in size while the newest ones are offered at a default size of 360x480 that can be enlarged to 1075x1434. These new photos are BIG! This is a great improvement to the site (they're currently going back through older galleries and resizing them to fit the new size standards). And not only are they good sized, they're also very clear and well-shot. Everything is nicely lit and quite sharp. There are currently around 22,000 photos available, all exclusive to the site. A new gallery is added every Sunday and every other Wednesday. This is a pretty good update schedule, considering the exclusivity of the content and the unique nature of the content.
The pictures are the main content of the site but there is some bonus content and videos, as well. There are five videos, each around three minutes long, offered in Real Player for download. The video quality is good at 350k, it's just a shame there aren't more clips available. Additionally, there are screensavers and printable erotic drawings, as well as some digitally reworked photographic art. These are good site bonuses that are consistant with the entire feel of the site. They should be a nice plus for most members.
Before I finish up I wanted to touch on the design and navigation of the site. In my mind, this is the weakest aspect of Hippie Goddess. Things are just a little too simple. To browse the galleries you can go chronologically on the updates page (a new feature from within the past six months) or you can browse by season. The names of the seasons are creative (The Maiden's Charge, Season of Dread) but they don't tell you much about what you'll see inside. They go to great lengths in the tour to describe the Goddesses (The Goddess of Reflection, The Fairie Folk, The Goddess of Orchards) but inside there is no way to browse by Goddess. A model index would be a great addition! Overall the colors, graphics, and layout of the site could be updated to better reflect the quality content this site has to offer.
Hippie Goddess definitely fulfills its purpose of providing quality, original, artistic photos of real women exploring their sexuality in nature. My expectations were somewhat low coming into this review both because of the type of site and my initial impression of the site's design. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the large quality photos. $25 a month is about right for a site with a collection of 22,000 pictures and six updates a month. I would be even more supportive of this price if more videos were offered. Still, I think the site is strong within its niche. Though it's quite different from mainstream porn, Hippie Goddess could be a nice break from the silicone and fake orgasms offered in abundance on other sites.

Can it really have been four years since our last review of Hippie Goddess?! That's practically a lifetime in the internet world. As you'd expect, a lot has changed here. The first thing I noticed was the more advanced navigation. They now offer a very cool search tool, along with a complete model index. The colors and graphics also look more up to date. Picture and video quality have also improved, with new images coming in at 1166x1742 and looking just as sharp as ever. Videos play at 900k, a good jump from the 350k we saw originally. The site is updated twice a week, bringing the total content counts up to 52,000 photos and 43 videos. Overall, I'm still really impressed with the quality of the content and how they've managed to stay true to the theme over the years. This is a great join for anyone after some hippie love.
