I love the high definition movement out there right now. I have a few high-def TV's setup, and a couple high-definition Tivo's coming in tomorrow that just recently were released. The effect on porn is awesome too as we finally have quality that no one can really complain about. The big problem is just getting the movement started since I'm sure there's a high cost involved to produce this material. High Definition Blowjobs is one of the newer sites obviously offering HD content. They even made the pictures look good in their tour to help sell the quality aspect of the site. We even hooked you guys up with a special discounted price of $20 a month instead of the usual $40 a month. You can thank us with homemade cookies please!
The goods:
- Quality of the high-definition content is awesome of course. Until a few days ago, their 1280x720 4000kbps videos were about the best I'd seen, and still are in the elite few sites that are offering high-definition content. It's too bad this high quality is only offered in about 1/5 of their content, but it is there for the viewing.
- Seems to be exclusive content. They don't really mention much on exclusivity anywhere, but it appears to be all exclusive content from what I'm seeing. If nothing else, all the content is similar to each other so if you like one, you should like them all.
- Access to some other similar sites included. They have a few different variants of the "High Def" sites that you get access to with your membership here. With the lack of blowjob-specific scenes though, the other sites may be about the same as this one not providing very much variety overall.
The bads:
- Needs more content! There are only six high-definition scenes up right now, and 24 hardcore shoots that aren't in high-def (though they still look pretty good at 640x480 and 1000kbps). They have no update dates posted anywhere so I'm not sure if the site is even growing.
- Most scenes aren't actually high-definition. Only six of the 30 scenes are in HD format, leaving the other 4/5 of the content to be your standard paysite fare. When you bill yourself as a high-definition site, I would have expected a majority of the content to be in that format. I was definitely disappointed when I first got here.
- Most scenes are general hardcore, not necessarily BJ specific. I asked the question of why they called themselves a high-definition site if a majority of their content isn't in HD, and I can ask the same about calling themselves a blowjob site. Sure the scenes have blowjobs in them, but don't 95% of hardcore porn shoots these days? They get into regular sex, anal sex, cumshots, etc. without leaving the focus 100% on blowjobs like it should have been.
- Not sure when updates come. They don't give you any dates here, and the number of videos online isn't that high, so I assume they're not updating very often. I hope to come back next year and see more content (especially in HD), but for now it doesn't look great to me.
Conclusion:
The idea of the site is great. The design and preview content fit into the theme as well making things look good on the outside. However, when you figure out how little HD content and how few blowjobs are going on here, it takes away from the site in a huge way. The content is good and all, but the rest of the things we look for are just lacking a bit right now unfortunately. Hopefully they can turn this around with a lot of attention and new features to make the site better next time we're here.

Well, there's more to see here at High Def Blow Jobs since our last visit, with the video count up to 67 or so. The bad part is that most of them are still not in high-definition, and some are not even blowjob videos still. That's just pretty dumb to me considering the title of their site. Updates aren't quite coming weekly it seems, and they dropped their special discount price and returned to $40 a month. Overall I wouldn't say the changes are great, and most of all, I'd love to see more HD blowjob videos offered as that's what we came to see.
Score decreased from 79.5 to 77.0.
