PROS:

 BOTTOM LINE:

"A promising site with some hi-quality videos but the site needs to tighten up some of the loose ends."
Just like ultra hi-res photography sites were growing greatly in numbers a few years ago the trend nowadays is for HD videos. High Def Blowjobs is one site that is part of that trend. The first thing that I noticed is in regards to the title, specifically the blowjobs part. It doesn't seem to apply to the scenes since all sorts of hardcore boy/girl action and solo girl performances are equally as prevalent as the BJs. I see this as more of a general hardcore porn site.

The Goods:

- Some Very High Quality Videos. The content is broken into two sections: Super HD Archives and HD Archives. The Super HD has seven videos and those are the actual high def movies that can be streamed in browser or played in a stand alone media player (or QT). The Super HD ones are indeed high quality in any format.

- Sexy Models in Groupsex Action. The content is professional looking with very sexy pro models. A whole lot of the scenes feature more than one girl and there is quite a bit of group sex banging.

- Sharp Looking Site. The design fits the niche in that it's got nice sharp graphics and a clean layout. The guest tour provides some video samples of their movie quality.

The Bads:

- Downloading & Format Difficulties. For a site selling high definition videos these guys really haven't done a good job with the formatting consistency. The collection is a mixed bag of WMV and QT some with multiple quality levels and others with only 1 quality level. Some videos have clips and full movie files while others have no such options. Since video quality is the #1 characteristic of this site it's frustrating that they don't have standard formats choices for every movie.

- Small Super HD Collection. The number of Super HD videos are outnumbered by the other videos by a 3:1 ratio. They definitely need to increase the amount of Super HD if they're going to live up to being a real HD site.

- Updates Aren't Dated. Only a handful of 'recent updates' are listed without any dates. From what I've seen they don't seem to be adding Super HD videos much at all at the time of this review.

Conclusion:

At the time of this initial review High Def Blowjobs has a decent foundation with some Super HD videos but the site needs to hammer out some kinks. Any site that sells high def videos makes me enter with high expectations so things like inconsistent formatting and no update details can be quite problematic. When we come back for a follow-up I'll be looking to see if they've straightened these out and increased the number of Super HD scenes.

1st Follow-Up Review Review: 09-20-07

There has been some activity at High Def Blowjobs. The number of videos has grown somewhat and there are now 14 movies in the Super HD Archive section. The rest of them still fall under the "HD Archive" section which remain average quality movies. The downloading/format consistency seems to have been improved. Clips and full-movie files are available for most videos. Other than the growth the points made in my initial review still apply. The small percentage of super HD movies is a clear negative for a site titled "High Def Blowjobs". Also, they insist on having many non-blowjob focused movies with general hardcore shoots and even some solo dildo scenes. The upsells are also over the top and no updates dates are provided.
