Man, where do we start here? Petter Hegre showcases his photography skills here on Hegre Archives. Let me tell you, I think we're lucky to have guys like this around. His photgraphy is amazing, maybe even more amazing than the beauties he's taking the pictures of (maybe, hehe).
The site was a bit confusing to me at first, as there's a lot to see. I guess the real confusing part for me was that you could never really tell if you were in the visitor's section, or inside the member's area. The good news from that is that you know exactly what you're getting once you're inside.
The time he (or his help) spends on each and every gallery is amazing. For each gallery (of which a new one comes out every single day), they create a faux magazine cover with a full-size preview and the number of pics in the gallery. In addition to this, they update the main preview image at the top of their member's (and hence, the visitor's) area, in addition to manually editing the counter that is diaplayed proudly keeping track of how many images are available.
All but the first few months of the site offer two sizes of photos, with 600x450 being average for the smaller size and the larger coming in at 1200x800. In April this year (2003), he started offering a third image size, which is a whopping 2000x1400. Bravo for keeping up with the times!
Image quality is stellar. I don't know what really more you can say, but whatever he's doing definitely works like a charm. It's an interesting mix of an amateuresque "caught-in-the-moment" style and magazine-quality erotica. I just found myself wanting to click more and more and continue viewing the photos.
At first I was a bit annoyed that the galleries opened up in a new window. I'm the type that feels that if I wanted a new window, I would have opened it myself! Once I got used to their script displaying the images, I didn't mind it so much. You're able to view the pics as a slideshow, as when you click on the picture it'll automatically load the next one. I've never been much into these features, but Petter's pics deserve to be looked at in as many ways as possible. When you're done, simply close the window and you're back to where you want to be.
His videos are also of high quality, although they're not what you'd expect. You don't really see chicks masturbating their brains out. Instead you get more of a behind the scenes look at a typical photoshoot of his. Nothing to "get off" on per se, but cool to see nontheless. He offers up Windows Media files, as well as a Quicktime option. I had some problemss with the QT, but I guess that's why you offer more than one version, huh? The sound was a bit off on the videos I watched, but nothing too annoying. There were just a few clicks/scratches here and there, or the one random time where the sound and video weren't in sync. It may have been on my end for all I know.
Overall I just really like the site. While it's not the typical jack off and run type porn site, it definitely excels in providing an artsy/glamour look at some beautiful models. Even if you're not into porn, you have to check this site out just to see what Petter can do with his camera (especially if you're into photography in any way). The daily updates make it worth your while to spend the $25 and get a glimpse into Petter Hegre's archives, which are sure to amaze.

I like Hegre's site a lot before, and taking another look around today, I still do. He updated the design a bit (mostly in the free section, though), and wanted us to take another look. Although the member's area looks pretty similar as it did before, the subtle differences were pleasing to the eye.
The pictures look as great as ever. The largest size is still right around 2000x1300, which is pleny large. The quality is still great as well. There wasn't a whole lot they could improve upon, and I'm glad to say they haven't screwed anything up either ;-) About the one problem I noticed, and I'm not sure if it's a temporary thing or what (I assume it must be), is that the server would pause sometimes and not load images for about 10 seconds. Very weird.
Unfortunately there weren't any real places I could bump the score up. Like I said, I've always liked the site.
Score remains at 94.2.

Man, Hegre's site just keeps growing here. Daily updates definitely help that happen, and both the photo and video sections have grown quite a bit since last time we were here (which was a while ago now). Some of the newer sets have another picture size at 3000x2000, which isn't seen on too many other sites these days. I guess you could print those up or something with that crazy of a size!
I still enjoy the site and the photos quite a bit, even though not much is new around here. There are still a few small things I'd change, but nothing major and I'd definitely recommend this one if you like their preview images as there's tons more to see inside.

And the great get better, or so it seems here. We all love Hegre already, and it seems he's stepped it up again with a few more options. All the goods from before are still here: exclusive nude content, awesome quality, daily updates, and more. Add to that a sixth picture size of 6000x4500 and it's just getting insane around here. That's got to be about the biggest photo I've seen online anywhere (except for a NASA gigapixel picture once, or something). New video options are available for newer videos as well which is awesome. This is just a great site overall and I love that he keeps improving things. If you love beautiful women posing nude, it's definitely a must-see.
