This is Norwegian photographer Petter Hegre's online database. To fill you in, he's an award winning erotic photographer with several books under his belt (hey, I didn't know of him either until I saw this site). It's a showcase all his work in one place. He's got 27,000+ pics, 50+ videos, and extra content that's surprisingly very interesting: a bi-weekly ezine, photo message boards for members, and travel reports. Hegre is certainly talented and continues to attract amazingly gorgeous women to add to his collection.
The heart of this site are the picture galleries. Artistic and erotic in nature, the closest thing I saw to hardcore was two girls in the same picture. No girl/girl action though, damn! Archives date back to January 2002 and there's been one new gallery each day since then. Viewing the pics in high-res is very impressive, with resolution going up to 2000x1300. You don't see that many places. Lower resolutions are available, in fact most pics have three viewing choices, with the lowest being about 600x390. To me the models seemed to be fresh faced european beauties. Specifically, I got the feeling most were of eastern european origin. Nothin' bad about that!
In my opinion, the navigation and layout weren't as sharp as they could be. Many pages seemed a bit cluttered and most annoying was everything you click on opens in a new browser window. At first I wasn't sure what I'd find where, the navigation bar was a bit unclear. Things do become clearer as you explore a bit more and adjust to what each section offers. Be sure to check out the members message boards where you'll find posted photos of girlfriends and wives. It's a nice change of pace and I even located some hardcore stuff in there.
For $24.95/mo, it's worth joining Hegre. Even though you can't purchase a trial membership, Hegre's work won't be found anywhere else. If you really relate to his stuff and get into it, remaining a member for several months wouldn't be out of the question.

I don't see any real big changes since I last looked at Hegre. The most notable improvements have simply come through the updates. Hegre has continued updating with a new gallery each day bringing the total number of pictures to over 40,000. All the newer galleries have three sizes per pic, 600, 1200, and 2000. The older ones had (and still have) two sizes. Both the 1200 and 2000 are amazing quality. The videos section has gone from about 50 movies to over 80 which is an impressive jump. I didn't really get into the videos in my first review so let me clarify that they're very similar in nature to the photos; all beautiful models posing for softcore and artistic shoots. These are in Windows Media and Mac MOV formats.
Hegre now has built up two-and-a-half years of content putting it among the top softcore model sites on the net. I still like the Photo Forum section where members can post their own pics of wives, girlfriends, and models. Additions are made to that on a very regular basis, if not daily. To me the navigation and layout is still a bit cluttered, but the excellent content easily makes up for that.

It's been about a year since we did a follow-up of Hegre Archives. Even though no substantial site changes have occurred, I'm still glad we're doing another follow up since this is among our highest rated sites. They've continued to build the videos section which now boasts over 127 clips. It's really come a long way from the time of our original review when there were only a few dozen. Having a decent sized collection as they do now really helps give members a lot more to see. I also now see some galleries with 3000x2000 pictures which is excellent. Although I need to point out this is only a small percentage of galleries, most still have high-res pics at 1300x2000.
Hegre still deserves to be highly rated because it's got most of what you'd want from a softcore site. The one thing that annoyed me were some galleries that had some blurriness to the pictures. Overall the picture quality is very high, but I occasionally ran across high-res pics that weren't as crisp and sharp as I expected.

For softcore photography and videos of sexy models from all over the world Hegre still remains on of the best sites around. Growth continues with now nearly five years of archives organized by month. The amount of sets that are in the ultra hi-res range also has increased with XL pics that are simply phenomenal. Some now reach up to 6000x4500 which is almost mind-boggling. Hegre is definitely one of the sites leading the way when it comes to hi-res pictures.
The number of videos also continues to increase and formats for the newer ones now includes WMV, QT, DivX, iPod, and PSP. Not all are available for each video but the newer ones do have all those options. Really the one item about Hegre that I would change is that when browsing the pictures they open in a new browser window. In my opinion this makes for choppy navigation.
