I'm not usually much in the know of pornstars, let alone big photographers in the business. Still, even I've heard the name Ron Harris before. I won't get into a ton of details here as you can read them on his site, but he's done numerous newsworthy projects in the past. These include Aerobicise, several title shows on Playboy television, the world's first egg and sperm auction site, and now apparently a radio show out of L.A. as well. As a photographer, he's worked for 40 years publishing over 25,000 photographs of supermodels, so I think he knows his stuff.
He has two websites, Harris Archive which we're looking at today, and his main site just called Ron Harris Studio which you get access to with your membership. It sounds like this archives site is more softcore than his newer stuff (which features - **gasp** - dildos and insertions). That should give you a decent idea of what type of content we're looking at here.
To start browsing, hit one of the month's text links right on the main page. He started in January, 2004, it seems, and has stuff in all but four months for some odd reason. I was surprised there weren't more browsing options (by model, search, etc.), but we'll see how this goes. On a side note, the links really messed me up as each month actually pointed to the previous month for some reason or another.
Once you're on a page, there's usually anywhere from 6-30 galleries or so available to choose from. I'm not exactly sure why the updates are slower this month, but it's a bit disappointing for sure. Once you're at a gallery, you'll see there are three size options for the photos (and a zip file download). They range from a measly 800x600 to a manly 2000x1333. As expected, there's a lot of pretty softcore sets, but the pictures look very nice. I can't tell which, but there's either too much makeup or airbrushing going on here at times for my liking. Otherwise, the models look good, the photography is great, and as a result the pictures are quite nice.
The video section was pitifully small, but what do you expect on a photographer's site. All of them come in Windows Media Video from what I saw, and actually look pretty good. There's a lot of behind-the-scenes type stuff, so don't expect any orgies here, okay? Four of them come in at 320x240 and 1040kbps and look pretty good, though there are some small quality issues here and there. The latest one is 640x480 and 3140kbps, which is quite a big jump. While it definitely looks better, it's not as crystal-clear as you would think. Still, the biggest problem people will have is the small size, and just the nature of the content itself here I think.
Updates come 6-8 times a month or so this year, though some month's are skipped altogether. If it's an archive, I'm not sure if this is stuff that's moved over from the other site, or shot specifically for this one. Overall, it's a decent site I'd say. It's a bit expensive for just this site alone, but you do get access to his other one as well. The content looks good, I just wouldn't mind more of it in the end. I'd like to see the updates on a more regular schedule as well. Fans of his work will definitely enjoy the stuff, and should be members already. Others should take a look if you like the magazine-style stuff, and see if this fits the bill for you.

It's been a little while since we were last here, and the site is larger than before. Unfortunately it's not that much larger, and I think that's because updates have been a bit slower than usual lately. You also no longer get access to his other site unfortunately, which was another big plus from last time. On the good news front, the pictures are larger than before at 3000x2000. Overall though, the changes may hurt his site a little bit here for now.
Score decreased from 82.2 to 79.0.
