"This site offers up a respectable collection of high-res pics by Ron Harris."

Harris Archives is the second part to Ron Harris’s online collection. His other site Ron Harris already has a full review. Members joining either site get access to both so please take note that the Ron Harris site has a less expensive special membership price. As far as Ron himself goes he's a photographer with a "passion for beauty". That's how he describes himself and I also think it's an accurate portrayal of what Harris Archives is all about - softcore photography of beautiful women.

Sometimes as a reviewer I'll be stuck with a bland site that doesn't do anything either exceptionally well or terribly bad. That's not the case with Harris Archives. The site has excellent high-resolution pictures which I really enjoyed but at the same time I was driven crazy by the navigation. To me those are the two characteristics that define Harris Archives. Fans of beautiful babes will no doubt like the original content collection; I just wish it was presented on a site with a more finely tuned layout. Most annoying was that it's necessary to click on the "Hi-Res Video" link in order to get the update calendar to appear in the left margin. Otherwise it's necessary to browse through the pages one month at a time or keep going back to the member's homepage to start again.

Ron's collection of models are not the same big name pornstars and adult models that many other picture sites rely on. Perhaps real model enthusiasts may see some familiar faces but the vast majority are new to me. All pictures are offered in 3 sizes: 2000x1333, 1200x800, and 800x600. The 2000x1333 look fantastic and they give you a chance get a crystal clear look at these ladies. The high-res pics are also available in zip downloads.

While the pics make up the majority of the content there are a handful of videos too. They are nice quality but since they're so few in number they can only be considered supplemental material to the pictures. The #1 and perhaps only reason to join here is the high quality pics. It's a solid collection although I the site has room for improvement in other areas.

1st Follow-Up Review

Harris Archives continues going along without any huge changes other than increased picture resolution. The most recent few months have seen the standard large picture size raised to 3000x2000. That's the kind of stuff I like to see from a softcore photography site. The zip file downloads for the galleries also include the higher res pics. I'm still not a fan of the design or navigation here and wish they'd start increasing the number of movies.

Score increased from 78.2 to 78.5.
