Wow, I can tell you for certain that I was not expecting to see the "largest transsexual erotica site in the world" when heading to a site called The Grooby Archives. But that's what's here, and we're ready for it now! The specs they list just on their splash page are pretty impressive: 1918 models, 3,833 photosets, 1,041 videos, and all of it being exclusive material. That's a lot of content in a pretty niche site, and if it really is all exclusive material, this could be pretty fun. $30 is a bit steep for most sites, but right around what I expected for something like this.
The goods:
- Tons of content up. Their numbers are just amazing, especially when you consider the content they're offering here. All original niche content like this is tough to come by, let alone to have so much material that our content counts are in the thousands.
- All original material. I'd imagine on a niche site about transsexuals, you can run into the same recycled content over and over again. Thankfully they say they offer all original material here, so most of it should be new stuff for you.
- Large weekly updates. While they only update once a week, the last update appeared to have 27 photo sets and 11 new videos put up. If that's the norm around here, no wonder they're so huge!
The bads:
- Design/navigation could be a little better. The site itself was just a little plain for me overall. They offered a few different ways to browse such as by model, or update, but I wouldn't mind even more such as a nice search engine or something. The design worked fine, but could use a little refresher to make it look a little more contemporary.
- A bit expensive. While it's mostly in line with other sites with this kind of content, $30 is just always a lot to spend on any one site. Thankfully they make it as worth your while as they can here with the amount of content and updates though!
- Quality can vary a bit. As with any site this large and old, some material looks better than others. Even some of the new stuff, while keeping the specs decent, just didn't look as good as some other sites we see. Perhaps it's poor lighting or cameras or something.
Conclusion:
Overall, Grooby Archives is a pretty nice destination for transsexual content. They offer a lot of material, at least most of it being original material too. Updates come regularly and are quite large. The few negatives aren't a huge deal, and are pretty standard for sites of this size.
