The Grooby Archives calls itself “The Largest Transsexual Erotica Site in the World”, with a massive collection of hot shemales from around the world. Grooby Productions has been producing tranny content for over eight years on many different websites. Here, they’ve assembled all of their content into one large archive for members to enjoy.
The Goods –
They really do have a huge collection of content. They’ve got over 380,000 photos and over 1,000 videos. With so much material, they’re able to offer a varied and complete collection of tranny material covering all the major sub-niches you might hope for, like different ethnicities (Asian, black, Brazilian), stockings, feet fetish, softcore, and hardcore. They have something for everyone.
The updates are quite large. Each week at least 25 galleries and 10 videos are added. While updates only happen once a week, they give you more than enough new material to see you through to the next update.
All of the content here is original. This really impressed me. With so much material and such large updates, I thought for sure it was purchased. Not so. They produce all of it!
The Bads –
They really don’t have enough browse features considering how large the site is. Basically all you’ve got to go by is the updates page and the model index. I’m a big fan of model indexes, but with 1,668 models, they really need to go beyond that. It would be nice to be able to search through the models by hair color, ethnicity, etc. I’d also like to see categories for the content. They’ve got so much material here, they need to make it easier to find specifically what you’re looking for.
There are no viewing options for the videos. All you’ve got are clips that play in Real Player at around 300k. This bothered me for a few reasons. First off, it was disappointing to only have clips with no full-scene option. Second, Real Player isn’t what I’d pick for a video format if I was only going to offer one format. It would be nice to have a choice that included something like Windows Media Player. Third, 300k just isn’t very sharp. A higher quality option would definitely be appreciated.
Conclusion –
As you’d hope for from a content production company, Grooby Archives offers a large, varied, and entertaining collection of photos and videos. Where they come up short is on the site itself which lacks some important user features. If they could come up with more advanced browse features and video options, we’d be talking about one high score. As it is, however, tranny lovers can still have a very good time on Grooby Archives.

It's been two years since our last visit to Grooby Archives and the already massive site has continued to grow at a quick pace. With over 20 galleries and videos added each week, you can be sure this site is moving fast. They now have over 3,248 original models which is just staggering. The video options have improved. They now offer two quality settings in Windows Media for new movies, with the higher one coming in at 2200k. That's a big improvement! Of course, the older ones still play in Real Player, but it's a step in the right direction. I still wish that they had more tools for navigating this site, but I give them credit for keeping hte design clean and simple. It helps a bit. The price of membership has gone up to $35 a month, which is higher than I usually like to see on a site, but Grooby Archives is definitely working hard to be worth it and I think tranny fans will find it worth every penny.
Score increased from 79.5 to 81.0.
