PROS:

1. Tons of shemale content.

2. Alphabetized model index.

3. Wide variety of ethnicities.

CONS:

1. Lots of Real Player format vids.

2. Average size pictures.

BOTTOM LINE:

"Grooby has a huge collection of shemale content including ethnic models although the video formatting could be improved."

With a title like Grooby Archives I didn't know what to expect from this site. Upon arriving I discovered it's a shemale/tranny site with quite a large database of content. The FAQ page offers up some good info on the company, the site, and their other sites.

The Goods:

- Tons of Shemale Content. This site definitely has a large enough collection to justify using the word "archives" in the title. The number of picture galleries, videos, and models are all impressive.

- Alphabetized Model Index. This is the way navigation is done on the site. It's simple enough to use with each girl having links to her photo and video appearances.

- Wide Variety of Ethnicities. This is probably what stood out most to me as I browsed the site. There are a ton of black, asian, and latina models mixed into this collection along with white trannys. This site is definitely a good choice for fans of ethnic shemales.

The Bads:

- Lots of Real Player Format Vids. The video formatting is the biggest weakness on the site. Lots of the movies are offered in Real format which is not my favorite choice. It would be much better if WMV or MPEG were offered as the main format with Real offered as a backup option. Also, I ran into a number of vids without any preview thumbnails which is annoying.

- Average Size Pictures. The pictures are nothing special for a paysite especially when it comes to size. They're fine but if they could bump these things up to a higher resolution that would help a lot.

Conclusion:

Grooby is pretty straightforward in that they offer a huge collection of pictures and videos with a ton of models to choose from. The price is on the mid-high end of paysites but in this case it's okay since they back it up with a large database of material.
