I've been looking forward to reviewing GothRockGirls.com because anything alternative is right up my alley. If you like hardcore rockers, alternative punk chicks, and gothic lesbians, you'll find about 24+ video shoots of just that, as well as 10+ behind the scenes videos. The site has only been up for about 8+ months now, so the small collection is somewhat understandable, but the lack of date stamps or a clear update schedule is concerning. This is a simple site too, but high definition videos can stream up to 4000k. A membership here will cost you about $25 bucks per month.
The Good:
- Original content featuring hardcore punk rock & Goth babes in lesbian sex. Lots of great face-fucking, kissing, licking, toy play, and even a few strapons. The girls are glammed out in their punk/Goth attire: fishnets, stockings, colored hair, tattoos, etc. and they get right to business!
- Many download options for content. Each scene offers WMV clips in 3 quality formats, along with a full-length version. iPod/iPhone download options are available. Screen caps are also an option.
- High quality videos. The HD video option offers streams up to 3700k. They look really great and especially help the sites potential for the future.
The Bad:
- Small, overly simple site. So far there are only 24+ video scenes plus 10+ more behind the scenes clips. They are simply listed 6 to a page on a number of pages.
- No date stamps or clear update schedule. Even though weekly updates are promised, there is no way to tell for sure.
- No model index or other browse features. Lack of model information somewhat takes away from the sites potential for personality. The original content here should be dually matched with a model index complete with bios. With such a small archive, Goth Rock Girls could certainly benefit by adding these.
- NO digital images. Each set offers what they call pictures, but they're really just still shots taken from the videos.
The Conclusion:
I liked this small, but original lesbian site. The video quality was great, the content itself entertaining and true to its theme. The only big thing missing for me was some sort of model index with bio information. Short descriptions are offered for each scene, but it wasn't enough. The full=length downloads did help add to the overall enjoyment of the site, but lack of a clear update schedule or date stamps leaves me hesitant to suggest a join. Overall though, if the sites theme appeals to you, I definitely think the site is worth checking out.
