I don't know why, but I feel like we're reviewed this site before? Maybe it's simply because GoldenHardcore.com features all of the old school classics that are tough to forget. Pornstars like Houston, Vanessa Del Rio, John Holmes, and all your natural & busty babes of the 70's & 80's. OR maybe I'm simply remembering this site because it's a part of the super fabulous Hardcore Network of sites that includes a total of 18+ sites for a (somewhat expensive) $34.90 per month. On it's own, Golden Hardcore currently offers more than 74+ videos and 5,790 screen cap images.
The Good:
- Multi-site access to some incredibly unique sites, such as Ass Smoothie, etc. Besides, who doesn't love the old school classics, when bushes were full, breasts were real, as were the orgasms (at least there were more convincingly so). The content isn't date stamped, but it looks as though updates are coming in about once per week.
- Although the picture quality suffers some due to old technology & pure age, the video quality is actually top notch and bitrates are as high as 2400k. All videos play in full and are available in 3 quality formats.
The Bad:
- $34.90 per month is a high price to pay for a somewhat small collection of content and updates that may not always be consistent. Unique content aside, I'd say this is a case where the additional Network access is almost necessary.
- Images are small screen caps, not actual digital images. Thus, the quality is not so great.
- User/browsing options are minimal. Basically you're only able to browse the videos in (what I'm assuming is) chronological order. There are no date stamps or model bio/information offered. For a site with a real specific emphasis on it's content, they sure don't do a great job at highlighting these classic vids. A model index would have been nice too.
The Conclusion:
To be real honest, as a "Classic vids" site, I was overall disappointed. If I wanted a real "blast from the past" experience I would also expect to get the video & model information that goes along with it. In that case, I could ignore the older looking picture quality of the otherwise high quality videos. But when it comes to GoldenHardcore.com, I feel that they dropped the ball some. Not all their videos even give model information, it's absurd! With that said, the Network access is a pluss, and the rest of the sites give a real taste of high quality video content. A membership here isn't cheap, but I hope this is the type of Network that continues to improve on its sites (including this one) to make it worth the join.
