Globe Boys is up for review today, and it looks like they offer gay content from around the world. Their tagline says, "White, Black, Latino, Asian? Globe Boys HAS THEM ALL" to give you a good idea here. Their tour follows up on that promise with pictures and video clips of all types of guys getting it on. They feature everything from gay sex, to solo, to mutual masturbation inside, though hardcore sex is generally the main feature I'd say. $30 a month gets you in the door, which is about what I'd expect for a site like this.
The goods:
- Content seems to be exclusive. It's tough to tell here, especially since they focus on so many different types of guys. However, my guess is that it's exclusive content, though I can't be 100% sure.
- Good mix of gay niches. As I mentioned earlier, they offer everything from solo guys, to mutual masturbation, to hardcore gay sex here, which seems to be just about everything you can offer between two guys.
The bads:
- No updates since February, 2008. For some reason, they stopped updating, even though the site isn't that huge yet. I'd love to see the updates pick back up here, but I'm not holding my breath on this one.
- Could still use more growth. There are just over 50 videos currently, and over 130 galleries too, but that's just not a huge collection really. It's bigger than some sites we look at, but I'd feel much more comfortable with the numbers if the updates were still coming.
- Quality could be better. The videos just didn't look that great to me, and I'd put them at slightly below average for what we're used to seeing these days. The specs tell all, with videos coming in at just 480x360 and 700kbps or so.
Conclusion:
I'd say a year ago, Globe Boys would have had a decent-looking future. The content is decent, though quality could be better of course. However, without any updates right now, I don't have a ton of hope here. They definitely need more content, and a bump in quality, and you can't get the latter without the former. It's not bad, but I definitely wouldn't stick around too long personally.
