High quality content.
The pictures and videos look great. Photos are large, at 2000x1333, and impressively sharp. The colors are bright and bold and really nice-looking. Videos play at up to 2100k and are 768x432 in size. Though I was more impressed with the photo quality, this really is all-around a high quality collection.
Easy to navigate.
The design and navigation are very user-friendly. It's got a cute, pink look that is very clean. Getting around is easy, thanks to an advanced search tool that lets you search by age, hair color, breast size, nudity level, action, etc. There are also some basic categories and you can sort by name and date added.
Some good extras.
Girls Out West has so much personality, and a lot of that has to do with the site's extras. The "Behind the Scenes" section is updated with often with descriptions of how each scene went. Annie's Blog and the Forum are also great (although the forum is a whole lot more active than the blog). There's a lot more to the site than just the pictures and videos.
Other Good Stuff:
Updates come daily. A new gallery or video is added to the site every single day. All new scenes are posted on the member's homepage, complete with a preview pic, description, and link to the scene. It's no wonder the site is as large as it is with such a great schedule!
Good video viewing options. Each scene can be downloaded an a wmv, mpg, or mp4.
All galleries can be downloaded in a zip file.
Good model and scene info. The girls have interesting biographies and each scene has a little box detailing exactly what type of action you'll find in the scene.
Quick downloads! Using the browser I got speeds of 3.0mbps while using a download manager the videos cam in at 4.0mbps. No waiting needed for these scenes!
The Cons
Older scenes not as sharp.
The older content isn't as sharp and has fewer viewing options. Photos are closer to 1000x661 in size and not quite as clear. Videos are only offered as mpegs in all scenes added before October 2007. That means that around 2/3 of the videos do not have a wmv option. These older mpegs are so grainy that it was distracting at times
Minor Negatives:
The action is heavily weighted toward solo and, to a lesser extent, girl-girl content. There are 79 page of solo videos, 17 pages of girl-girl, and just 4 pages of guy-girl videos. For photos, you'll find 23 solo pages, 5 girl-girl, and 4 guy-girl. Just something to keep in mind.
Inactive blog. It makes for such interesting reading, it's a shame Annie hasn't updated it since June 09.
I really hesitate to list this as a con, but it's worth mentioning. This is all very real content, for better or worse. Some of the models or scenes might not make the cut on the "glossier" sites. There's no airbrushing here, you're getting the real deal. For many, that is the beauty of the site, but for some it may be a problem.
