Intro

Girl Next Door is up for review today, and this site is brought to you by the people behind all the magazines from the Swank company. This is a photo-only site, with archives dating back multiple decades, all featuring solo girls showing off their bodies. Despite some of the content being older, it's a fun way to look back at women over the years including their styles, body types, etc. Just $20 a month gets you in the door thanks to a special discount they've setup for our users, and that gets you full access to the Swank Pass network of sites as well.

The Pros

Pretty large photo gallery collection.

I hope you're into photographs, since that's all they offer here. Thankfully, they do it well, with over 1,300 galleries online currently. The archives go back quite a ways, with some content from decades past making up a large part of the site.

Network access included.

In case you need more to see, you do get access to the Swank Pass network of sites at least. This covers a lot of their magazine sites, also with a ton of archives in a variety of niches.

Other Good Stuff:

Their content is labeled as all-exclusive here. I'm sure they have their own photographers and shoot all their own material.
The magazine archives are always a cool feature for a site like this. They provide some nice extra content to browse through.

The Cons

No videos available.

They must not do anything with videos for the Girl Next Door brand I guess. They have a video section, but it's completely empty. You'll be stuck with photos only here, which may be a huge problem for some users out there.

Quality is up and down, and usually a little below average.

I think a big part of the problem is the age of the content. A lot of the shoots were from several years ago and shot on film. They had to be scanned in, and those just don't look as good. They're grainy, and sometimes not too well-lit.

Updates are very slow.

The update schedule seems very random here, so it's hit or miss as to when you'll see something new. Expect a new photo set about once every other month, which is pretty pathetic honestly. Some months you might get two sets, while other times you end up waiting for 3-4 months.

Minor Negatives:

There are several ads sprinkled throughout the member's area. They make the site feel very cluttered and are just a bit excessive in my opinion.
The navigation isn't the best here. They could use more tools and options to help filter down the large collection they have.

Bottom Line

If you don't mind the lack of videos, and older content, there are some interesting sets here.

Girl Next Door won't appeal to everyone I'm afraid. The lack of videos will be a huge downer for a lot of people, and the older, softcore content may not work for others. However, provided you like what they do offer, they have a nice collection here. There's a lot to see, and the variety is great to see everything over the years. Quality is definitely up and down, mostly because so much of the content is scanned in. Updates are very slow, as well, so don't expect much in the way of new content. There are a lot of downfalls, but if you can look past those, you should have a good time here.
