PROS:

1. Innovative download options.

BOTTOM LINE:

"No doubt about it, this is an awesome gay DVD download site. Oh, and it's cheap too!"

Gay Video Box is the sister site of Video Box which in my opinion is the best DVD porn site on the net. Simply put they've taken the identical site infrastructure and filled it up with gay DVDs. Take a few minutes to browse the tour and you'll get a crystal clear picture of what movies the site has to offer. Guests can browse the site exactly as it appears to members with the obvious exception that non-members can't view the movies. Basically they lay it all out there for all to see.

The Goods:

- Categorized DVD Collection. The site has over a hundred gay movies from dozens of studios in many, many niches. Simply put there are all sorts of hardcore gay action from solo to groups. Their niche list seems to cover just about any that you can think of.

- High Quality Videos. Four levels of quality are offered per and the DVD resolution look awesome. Even the High quality is nice for those who prefer decide to stick with the basic membership.

- Innovative Download Options. These guys are on the cutting edge of user-friendly downloads. Each movie is broken into segments and members can customize how much of any given scene they want to watch or download. After start and end times are selected the length and file size update immediately so you know exactly what you're getting.

The Bads:

- Not a Huge Collection. This will change over time but since it's not a huge site yet there's room for improvement here. Currently one new DVD gets added every other day. It'll be interesting to see how big the collection is when it's time for a follow-up review.

- Some Small Niches. This again goes to the number of movies. Some of the niches are rather full with lots of movies while others have only a few vids to choose from. Hopefully as the site grows they'll add movies across the board and not just in the most popular sections.

- DVD Resolution Cost Extra. While overall price is cheap for any membership option I can still point out that the cost is five bucks more to get those top level DVD files.

Conclusion:

For a general audience looking for hardcore gay movies Gay Video Box one of the best sites around. My guess is they'll continue to come up with other unique design improvements since that's what these guys always do. As it is the collection can be navigated by studio, series, or star in addition to all the niches.
